East Coast Cue Repair is the name he used for repairs then came out with Wheat Custom Cues when he launched his" going national " campaign.Pii said:Is Wheat cues also known as East Coast Cue Repair ?
I'm sorry but something isn't right here.

IF the kid and Jb are the same person, my bad.
thekid77 said:Thanks to all who have posted kind comments in response to my original post on this thread, and to everyone who has begun to come around..
To everyone else who has tried to do nothing but demoralize and bash my best friend and I from post #1, consider this, as I am sure that many of you already have: either I am Ed Wheat or I am not.
If I am EW, then congrats and my hats off to you for "figuring" me out...
If I am not EW, consider the fact that you negative posters have UNSUCCESSFULLY attempted to ruin a young kid's experience with his very first cue. An experience that was meant to be shared and enjoyed with others--something that was supposed to be fun. You people have tried to cheapen a good thing, but have failed. While you guys are in the forum harboring negativity against the innocent, he is out enjoying his brand new Wheat cue that he bought with his own hard-earned cash.
I pray that you all will find positivity and encouragement in this forum in the future, and that you will continue to give newcomers a warm welcome unless given reason to do otherwise.
This will be my final post in this thread..
Thanks again to Mr. Wilson, and much respect to everyone.![]()
thekid77 said:Yes, I do occasionally refer to myself in the third person. It's a habit that comes from years of writing in APA (American Psychological Association) format for research papers.
In this particular format, everything must be written from the third person to remove bias...
What I wrote, however, was obviously not an APA style research paper, it was a brief note--the intent of which was: 1). to thank many people on this forum for the kind messages that I have received, and 2). to address one particular individual whom I felt offended me personally with a very unthoughtful and insensitive comment...
For all those negative posters out there on this forum, remember why I started this thread: to share the truth about my personal experience with Ed Wheat.....
I'm sorry to break my word of being done with this, but going from 'a friend since I ordered the cue' to ' best friend'???????thekid77 said:To everyone else who has tried to do nothing but demoralize and bash my best friend and I from post #1, consider this, as I am sure that many of you already have: either I am Ed Wheat or I am not.
