I wasn't always a member of this forum, I was mostly doing my chatting on BD. But to anyone who is is interrested and for the ones that do know my story and doubted I could successfully pull it off, here are my pictures of my almost finished Rec. room.

And to give my story in a nutshell. I new I couldn't purchase a house without having the room for a pool table. Then I realized that the only way I could afford a house was to buy a duplex(upper/lower). And if anyone is formiliar with a duplex in the upper midwest they are NOT big enough for pool tables. Then I lucked out and found a place that already had a tenant in the lower unit. This left me the attic space. Then I thought hey I can fit a table up here. Well I did it right, coming from a construction background. And with the very unfortunate passing of my mother, I was left with an inheritance that helped me in my dream, which I know she would've liked. Oh and I added probably at least $15,000 to the value of the house!

Now I just have figure out how to post these pics. on BD.

Enjoy the pictures, and I thought I'd throw one in of my very lovely fiance and I. :)

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. Hope you know a lot of good times in your new rec room. Your fiance is very lovely, and I wish the two of you every happiness.

Good going! Looks like a great poolroom. May you and your fiance enjoy many memorable times in your gameroom.

Do the walls come into play at all? Looks like you did an great job...

A tad, the butt of the cue is just barely touching the wall when shooting a rail shot. And I have one area where the stairs come up with a half wall tha some times comes into play. I was always that guy that hated when people put pool tables in rooms that had no or little cue space. But I give myself this exception, and when I move to a single family home you can bet it'll be all cue room.

Funny how most folks mention your cute girlfriend.

Hey did I tell you that you have a hot girlfriend? :p

Since everyone seems to be so infatuated with my girlfriend, but really my FIANCE, I thought I'd share another picture but don't forget about the guy next to her...!

P.S. I shared one of her from Halloween as Lara Croft (tomb raider)

See now, people are gonna start to dislike you. First you post pictures of your very own pool room, then you tease them with pictures of your fiancee... In some countries, that'll earn you a missing body part. ;)

Sense of humor police, yeah, right over here. I'd like to charge this man with "Failure to Recognize Blatant Sarcasm." Just a misdemeanor, yeah. Book 'em, Danno.

Uhm, let me try it another way... "Sure, rub it in why dontcha?" In other words, uhm, actually I can't really think of other words. The sarcasm seems pretty obvious here. :)

Nice room,lucky groom!!!!!:p

I assume you've installed an air conditioner as no doubt it will get really hot up there in the summer time, especially if you are playing with your girl friend.:D

Is the table staying level on the wood floor?
Congrats on your room as it looks really nice.

To answer the question of keeping level read this old post of mine.http://www.billiardsdigest.com/ccboard/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=ccb&Number=218413&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

And I didn't have enough money to run duct work (I have forced air heating) so if I want put central air in I cannot get it upstairs I just heat it with baseboard heaters. So I am stuck with a window mount A/C. I did splurge on quality insulation and it is actually cooler up there then in my apartment.
