i just got my tascarella back from pete last week. the cue was refinished, a new black leather wrap, and a new ivory joint. this cue was pete jr's playing cue and he told me at valley forge he remembers cutting the inlays by hand. here's a pic with pete jr. holding this cue and pete sr. holding my other tascarella:

Very nice classic design...I bet that 3/8x10 solid ivory joint plays pretty sporty!

Great looking cue and that wrap looks really smooth.
Classical looking player.

Any chance of seeing the cue that Pete had in his hands?
Would love to see the forearm on that one.

Guy,
The cue turned out really nice. Definitely two great pieces for anyone's collection.

Marcus - Just seeing the update to the thread that included the picture of the forearm.
What a great cue!

Guy - Remember me if you want to help it find a new home.

well myron, unfortunately one of the two has to go. i've got a little over a year to pay for my daughter's wedding. my dilemma is i hate to part with either, they are both great cues.
