Oh their are so many things I could say to this that literally would not be nice. Interesting temporary fix though

Brent what are you doing posting pics of your creation. Give it a week and fleabay will be selling them.

i could have used one of my routers with speed reducer on it

but i figured that $10 cordless was worthy of such a hi-tech setup

my wife doesnt know, YET, that i confiscated her cordless:grin:

Brent

It looks pretty good. lol

You need to re-arrange the clamps and drill location so you can replace the battery without having to diss-assemble and re-assemble the whole thing.

I don't think that battery will last until your motor gets there.

already went thru one battery this morning
it slides straight out the back, dont have to touch the clamps

today is the wifies birthday

i think i'll get her a real cordless drill

Thats a slick set up Brent:thumbup:
I'd call it the drillmaster lathe :idea2:
How much for the 18V upgrade?

Brent,

You've always been a trend setter for the future technology path of cuemaking!!

Keep up the good work!!!

Gary

Hey Brent,

Improvisation and creativity go hand and hand.

When I first read the title on the thread I though we were losing you to becoming an tree hugger.:speechless:

Brent,

Your color blindness has not stopped you from producing some of the of those beautiful butterfly designs.

Colorblindness precludes one from obtaining a pilots licence because of depth perception issues as well as other limitations. Jack Nicklus the greatest golfer was color blind and he was able to over come depth perception issues pretty well.
