Hello,
I know that this might not be the exact spot to post this but there is no lathe gallery :p
Anyway, that is my small shop repair corner in my 3 car garage where I have installed my Mid-Size Hightower lathe. I have done almost everything on the lathe except sp's, I'll get there one day :ok:
I am looking to get just a decent workbench now to upgrade my work space.
Enjoy!

Tony was nice enough to invite me to his house so i got a chance to see his lathe in person. it was really cool i don't get a lot of chances to see lathes in person.

tony put a kamui black tip on one of my shafts while i was over. he did a pretty good job. all in all i got to see him install 2 kamui black tips. one on my cue and one on his. His was a done a little cleaner than mine because i didn't let him reface the ferrule on mine (it still looked good though).then we got to test them out on his table

Thanks again for having me over Tony! His wife and son were very nice

It is hidden and it is full. Have some hard liquor around as well. Usually do not work on the lathe after that :D

Looks like your up & running Tony. Congrats to ya
I wish I had the space & time to do just that.
Your a well established Azer & good knowledge of cues.
I wish you the best.

Hey buddy,
Next to the yellow blade case there is a bag with Kamui blacks and regular as well some other stuff. I have almost all tips. On retapering your shafts I have some sandpaper and a chainsaw :ok:

couldnt help but notice the dunlop polish as a guitar player. does it work well on cues? i used to work at guitar center and have one of the display boxes up in my room full of the stuff but never use it. could never stand the smell of it.

I have one of Chris's older model lathes that i've used for quite a few years. It's served me well, but I sure would love to move up to a newer lathe with double chucks and some other options.

For wrapless cues is awesome, just a bit on a clean cloth and buff the cue up. Does wonders ;)
