My State is Better Than your state challenge(Tx)

I would like to make a game to play like a 3 or 4 man team for like 5k minimum..
10 ball..one pocket.Banks..I however am not allowed to travel for the next 3 years due to a situation I have got myself involved in so the match would have to be in Houston...

1 Top player per team..
2 A level players
1 mid level player to lower level..
(basically as long as the teams agree)

10 ball races to 21
Banks race to 8
one pocket race to 6

All of the formats could be worked out..open to any other offers..

I may even get Jumpinjoe on this team for the midlevel player so yall can finnally take him off..Thanks David Parker

I've had an idea for a long time. You know how there are a ton of these reality shows on TV some of which we all have to wonder how the hell do they get watched.

Well, I thought, The best player in a randomly chosen state starts off with a camera crew visiting poolrooms across the country on a quest for a large cash prize as the best amateur player in the nation.

This player gets to continue his state to state play until someone from another state beats him, then they continue on the quest to finish the country.

At the end, the player who (so to speak) crosses the finish line, (perhaps another randomly chosen state) wins the last match with the best put up player there.

I'd watch that show! :smile:

I would definitely pay to see challenge matches where a pro and some decent AZB members did some varying sets.

We could start it off with CJ on one team, Lfigouera on the other. Hahaha

As of now im thinking my Team Tx is..

1.Jeremy Jones(pro player)
2.David Parker(myself)
3.Billy sharp(He has a pool room in Houston that we will play out of.He is not a well known player and Mike Banks actually came to Houston and gave him 3 games on the wire and beat him.
Thats the only way I can gauge his game for u to pick your team off of.Ithink he is a master in he bca though)
4.undecided

Do not have a complete format yet.Maybe we can have players commentate on the team also while the other players are playing.If it is streamed.Im actually just looking to gamble a little so I do not know about the stream as of yet.
 
Love the idea. No place like Houston!!

Jeremy Jones might be a good idea since he plays all the games well.
David Parker can give anyone a tough game when the money is right.

Im not sure how u play at all but I do see a small problem..Oscar, Louis and the other guy(I think)play better than my whole team except Jeremy..Louis and Oscar are both in he top player category.
Only one top player per team.

ha ha thats why I said I think on him..Im not sure who u are..But if u can make a Team close to even we will play..Other wise keep snappin off whoever u can sneak up on..:grin-square:
 
What it needs to be is 4 man teams from any city. 50 mile radius. I know some people might not live in houston proper but as long as there ID says they live within 50 miles then they can play for that city team. So Jeremy would have to play for a Dallas city team.

I appreciate u laying the rules for a game I made.If u can send a minimum of 5 k to juices paypal I would appreciate it since ur now making the game and putting the money up..Nice post count.Both of em..good day sir.
 
I was just making a suggestion. I didn't realize ur rules were set in stone. I like ur idea, but there could be more teams. Kind of like OKC VS HOU. Like bonus ball but now they have to have city residence. Yes I am new to the site as far as posting, but this is not my first time on the website. Besides u play too good and so does Billy Sharp. Anyways I will have good day. Thank u.
