My Tony Zinzola Story

True enuff. The Op did admit that he did know of other people having problems with Tony before he under took buying deposits.

It is with that, a person can unknowingly send money to a cue maker, only to get ripped off later, (surprise, surprise), or a person can do the same as the OP did, knowing that there may be a potential problem down the road.

Hence, why a couple of people posted that he took a gamble. And it obviously didn't pay off.

No one has disputed that Tony is so crooked that he could sleep in a grain auger.

Don't fret either way, I am on his side and hope that he, and others can get some sort of satisfaction in the long run.

What the heck is going on?!

OP should not count on the pool community.

I am surprised there isn't a persistent bunch to try and get this Tony Zinzola guy behind bars.

You guys should focus on getting him locked up in jail for fraud. Contact the local authorities. Gather evidence from AZ . Once you gather enough evidence, it is up to the authorities to throw this guy behind bars.

It is not a civil suit and will not cost anything but your time to dig up evidence and send it to the DA. I am tired of people committing fraud among members.

My goal is to hopefully get TZ behind bars before the end of 2014. I need help from victims. PM me.

Correct me if I am wrong....but cue building is contract work right?

It is illegal to ask for a deposit over 1k?

With respect to the risk that I thought I was taking when buying the deposits, I will quote from myself, one last time, and then will say no more about it:
swest said:
... at the time, everything I read about TZ's problems appeared to be about him not being able to deliver on time ...

And that was the story I was getting from the sellers of the deposits... I can't wait, or don't want to wait, any longer.

Now, what the actual facts were at that time (March-April, 2013), or what people thought were the facts at that time, I don't know. I only know that I had not seen anything that led me to believe otherwise.

Come on AZ...there needs to be more effort to get these guys behind bars.

There are very few people on here that have a dog in the fight. I personally dont see where it is AZ as a Whole's problem. These type of issues are up to the small number of individuals involved.

Correct... these threads are PSA's to spread the knowledge. No one should get involve that doesn't have skin in the game.

What changed in Tony's life to bring this 180 in how he operates his business?

When I mentioned that I could 'build' a cue like some of these cue constructors were calling it - Tony went out of his way and sent me an instrutional book along with cue parts to get me started.

I disagree.

All of a sudden there are guys like me who are bored in life and hangout on AZ with nothing to do. I will just spend my time on here trying to get these guys in jail.

If the victims would PM me, I can put something together and write to the FBI of where he lives. To honest truth is when it comes to money and fraud, they are quick to work.

I do not think swest was looking for sympathy, empathy or condolences........ he was just being forthright and chronologically factual.
I realize TZ hasn't been around to refute these allegations but that the sheer number of clients that got screwed is incredible.....and
TZ should not get away with his dishonest practices......I hope TZ ultimately winds up in a cellblock.

Thanks to swest for helping to further document the on-going saga about the scumbag legacy of TZ.

If your that bored with nothing to do why not donate your time to helping America's youth, or elderly, or animals or something with a little more substance and need than a cuemaker that owes money irrelevant to you. JMO

I have confidence that swest will receive at least one of his cues and that is only because TZ does not have it...if he did it surely would have been sold overseas by now. For those who have skin in this fight listen closely to what I am about to say....The ONLY way you will get your money or cue ( which is worthless now) is to show up at his door or have someone act on your behalf to do so....taking him to court is useless, he don't have shit, unless you want $20 a month till u r paid back. There are some big players acting quietly on this matter to bring forth criminal charges. It is my understanding, and I may be wrongbut prob not, that the amount owed out, whether in cues or money is between 20-25000. Keep bumping this thread and if I can be of any more assistance please contact me at any time Sam. Tony is actually a pretty nice guy in person but for some reason he feels compelled to rob people and thus far has gotten away with it with the exception of a few motivated people

Of course he is a nice guy in person. He is or has turned into a Con Man, isn't that short for Confidence Man.

He didn't want to get his face punched in either so he turned a few cues over to you and your friend. Cues that rightfully belonged to other people. Thank God you guys were honest and ensured that those cues ended up in the true owners hands.

Tony probably had other plans for them, otherwise why hadn't he sent them out.

I guess that he figured out that he can sell a cue twice and keep the people that had paid up front going with a few broken promises.

Sell a cue twice, someone gets a cue and someone gets a line of BS.

You can only do it for so long before the game catches up to you like it had with him.

Good while it lasted tho. At some point in time, it may catch up with him in a bad way, and he might end up going for a ride out in the country.

The moon when viewed at night in the country can be very pretty.

Doesn't Tikkler have action against him right now? Send him a PM if you are owed anything by Tony.

After reading this, all I can say is that TZ needs his a $$ kicked! Thats just wrong on any level and I'm sorry for any honest man that has dealt with this guy thinking he would be treated fairly. Ain't no better than a low-life thief.

I've never understood that train of thought...

It is all of society's business when fraud and law breaking occurs.

It affects all of society and all cue makers and all potential customers of pool cue makers.

That attitude reminds me of a time I saw a guy grab his wife and slam her head first hard enough to break get sunglasses off her face into a patio fence. I jumped in and slammed the guy almost through the wall.

I was told by some people that I should mind my own business but things like that and this are everyone's business and it is our responsibility as members of society to help prevent it from happening again and to assure everyone that we don't condone actions like that.
