My Tony Zinzola Story

Wow, I was sold the same cue as in the first thread too

... For 3,500.00  http://forums.azbilliards.com/album.php?albumid=642
Yeah, I know dumb ass me... However, I do have PayPal receipts, his Mavlink or whatever the hell it was he used, full of our correspondence on the build copied in a file... Was told the same lies as everyone else, and well here we are today.

I'm going to be honest with you all... This one single individual has ruined cue collecting for me. It makes me sick to my stomach. I have seen it happen with other cue makers too...something happens and they just say *&%^ it....and become douchebags.

If criminal charges are ever presented, let me know...I've got all my records ready and waiting... In the mean time if a bus runs over Tony,I'd be just as pleased... Karma's a *****...
Clint

Just curious...Looks like you have all the proof necessary to file either a criminal suit or a civil suit. Why have you not already done so? I doubt you are going to open your mail box one day and find your refund sitting there.

I wouldn't be waiting on anyone else. I would be acting to recover my loss now.

I was kind of hoping somebody got his a$$ beat.

But that's just me.

There are several cuemakers that deserve it.

I hate thieves and liars.

Oh well,

Ken

I have not lost funds with any cue makers but despise the ones that have stolen money and misrepresented themselves to the pool players on AZ and elsewhere. With that said I cannot wait to hear what Mr Piesner has to say about this situation. There may be the possibility that he cannot or chooses not to share his findings with any of us. I have met him and believe him to be a man of strong principles and believe he will do whatever it takes to resolve the situation to his satisfaction. Thieves steal much more than money, they steal your faith in humanity..

well the problem is that unless you're close to him it's hard to go confront him about it face to face. going down there would cost me like half of what he owes me so it kind of defeats the purpose. but we'll see where this leads in the upcoming months. it seems like he knows he's getting sued otherwise i wouldnt have to sign a legal document to get the money back that he had stolen from me. still absolutely ridiculous, anyone else encounter that? told him he had to put the money in escrow cuz im not signing anything before the money is secured since he not worth his word. of course this never became a problem because he had no intention of sending the money back to me anyways...you know, being a thief and all.

i dont know why he keeps telling lies and excuses. if you're not going to pay back money that you stole just say so, clearly people aren't going to forget you stole money from them so the excuses mean nothing. they just work against him when it goes to court.

You are right Dank, the ONLY way you will get your money is to confront him face to face like I had to do. Even then he was a bumbling fool full of exscuses and after I left that day we agreed on payment within a month. As the month deadline drew near the bullshit started again and I had to remind him that I would be driving right back to his town to file suit at the local court and he met up with me on the last day and I accepted two cues as payment that I had to sell on ebay and I only got $1700 for BOTh cues and they were fairly nice, just shows you how shitty the value of his cues are. The cues I accepted were $2000 cues when Tonys name was good....It has been a while and I guarantee Tony thinks he has gotten away with this....I think he is in for a surprise fairly soon legally....What he did is actually a federal crime, Not sure how many of you have ever met him but I dont think he would do to well in a federal prison.

The saddest part is the shame he will bring to his young daughter and son! As much as I cant stand the guy, he really is a slimy *****, I dont think he set out to do this, I just think by the time he realized how deep he was he just said screw it and started sliming people. I am still in amazment that more people have not confronted him after all this time. I hope he just cleans this up and gets everyone squared away for everyones benefit including his and his families

Do you really think Tony give a rats behind about bring shame to his family, if he had he would have done the right thing long ago. Working day, and night to right the wrongs.

JMHO.

I got what you posted, and as I had dealings with Tony personally I think he was the man of 10,000 excuses.

Tony had an opportunity he on AZ Billiards to have a 5 year back long of work, and he need do was continue on the path of build great Cue that he was very capable of. Tony blew it, and I do not understand why he was such a dumb a**.

No I dont think he cares, that is the sad part.

I know that it is hard to discern the difference but, I believe that in certain circumstances, desperate men will take desperate measures. It doesn't make it right.

Some of the cue makers have found themselves in tough situations. They start to juggle money, time, etc, and the end result is that they hurt their own reputations and hurt innocent people that have trusted the cue maker with their money.

Some have made amends and pulled themselves out of their Funk, which is good, but
at this point, it is doubtful that Tony cares enuff to even try. The only thing he is good for is more lies and BS. If a person is willing to listen, then he has a story for you.

I doubt that even Tony started off with this in mind but later, it would seem that he did turn it into a purposeful fraud.

Lies and intentional deceit are part of his plan. If you sent him your hard earned money, the only thing he was good for was a bunch of stories and later when the buyer got a little antsy, then his stories turned into well planned lies to keep a person from both their cue and or a return of their money.

One person had the ability to physically drive to Tony's home, which was a good thing because it was an eye opener for him.

Brian, (Chicken), threatened to do so as well and I am sure that he would have, push come to shove.

Yet, there are still however many that are out thousands. Even if a person has an abundance of spare income, no one wants to roll it up and toss it to the wind.

The fact that Tony is using someone elses income to support whatever lifestyle he is living is truly, The Saddest Part.

BTW Buddy, I like the Little Bull Dozer Pits Bull. My wife loves them also and I swear, we will end up with one at some point.

Or, you could send us that one.

well from some of the other posts etc. it seems he used some of the money to go on vacation? not that it makes it acceptable but if you were in dire straights then i could understand why you would resort to stealing from people. but taking the money to go on vacation is ridiculous and is inexcuseable.

if he didnt have the money to pay people back that's fine, just finish their cues. since they had paid for the cues it seems they would have preferred to have the cue than the money (at the time). he was just too lazy to do either. i'm not a lawyer but when you tell people to send you money because the cue is a week away from being completed but then don't send them the cue for over 3 years, it must show some sort of intent to deceive someone into sending you their money does it not?

either way legal action will commence soon so we'll see how it goes. it could get really bad for him depending on how he used the money that he took from people and where it ended up going.

Well I though Tikkler was already on the guy with his attorneys going after him as he posted something a while back , asking others who had been wrong to join him.

Tikkler has not posted in a while on AZB so I hope he is ok.

Feeding your family is different than taking a vacation.

Really, not much because it still involves theft. One makes a little better story.

I drove truck for a guy once. he was in need and I helped him out. At the end of the month, he wrote me a check for, get this, $666.00, cause that is what he told me that he had.

He is married to a Filipino women and finds the money to take her home once or twice a year. I ran into him one day and asked how he can afford to do that but not pay me.

He said that I should get a hold of him when he had money. No Shit eh. Without a Crystal ball, how am I supposed to know that.

They're everywhere man.

Now that I am half retired, I should go back and drive for him again. Take a Transmission out for him and leave the truck at the side of the road.

We're even Buddy.

A friend did that with another trucking outfit. They owed him big time. He was at a truck stop in the US. He sold off all the chains, boomers etc that he could get off the truck for cheap, found his way home, called the boss and told him where he could find his truck.

I almost shit when he told me that.
