My trip do the BCA Open in Las Vegas!

Well guys,
I was in Vegas for about a week and just got back home.
Don't ask me about how I did because I do not even want to talk about it... Yep... I did that good...
Having that said...
Had tons of fun and what really made my trip worthwhile was my Portuguese friends, leaded by by Manuel Game and Bruno Souse that snapped the 1st and 2nd place of the masters and the 1st place in the Open for Nuno Santos.
I took a few shots, I hope you guys enjoy.
Feel free to comment and ask questions...

The BCA Open is never the same without the help and expertize of Joe Blackburn, his grandson and our friend Steve Lomax. Great bunch of people... Learned a lot with them as well... Thanks Steve and Joe for your patience with me :)

Tony,
Good to hear you have returned safely from Sin City.

Hope to see you tomorrow at Hard Times for some 9-Ball (no more 8-Ball for a while).

Well... Me and Efren... Sorry for the showoff

Steve Lomax and the great Larry Nevel (awesome guy to talk to and to learn from)

My friend John Bertone from Kamui Tips and Karen Korr (man did she get skinny now:eek::eek::eek:)

The one and only Larry Price (just make sure when you bet with him there is cash on hand from both parties. He lost a $200.00 set and did not pay to a friend of mine saying he did not bet anything... So why the hell did he play with him then?). But Larry is a nice guy to talk to...

Also finally, last but not least, I did a trip to SouthWest Cues... Where all the magic happens...
I have gone to Vegas countless times but only now had the opportunity to finally meet Laurie Franklin, Al Lawrence, Mickey Bunker after talking to them so many times over the phone. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Vegas...
In the picture from left to right... Al Lawrence, Mickey Bunker, Laurie Franklin and me at the Southwest shop under Jerry's picture on the wall.

Damn Tony, I remember seeing you there but did not know it was you, walked past the AZ room and you were in there playing. Well maybe next time, looks like you had fun. :)

Thanks for the great pictures and the info with them. You have some interesting shots and I like the picture of you and the group from South West cues. It's nice to actually see the people who build these highly sought after cues........

Thanks for all the cool comments guys. I actually had my hotel paid till this coming Sunday, but just just had to come back for family reasons.
As you know when it comes to dinner time Vegas is awesome... You must try the Planet Holywood restaurant, the buffet at the Wynn and the best mexican restaurant in Vegas hands down - Isla @ Treasure Island.

Hey Mickey,
My favorite Justis was the second from the left, elephant with that Ross tooling. Right next to it there is that crocodile case, that was stunning as well.

Hey Tony
Thanks for sharing the pics & info on vegas. Looks like you had a blast out there buddy.
Hope all is well with the family. I gotta get to vegas one of these years, its just hard to do with a 6yr old son. Take care my friend.

I was in Vegas and heard about this set. What I heard was Larry was sitting there and a Mexican guy ("Chino" or something like that) put Larry in action against somebody and Larry gets beat (set was $200) and when the set was over Larry lost and the Mexican guy pulls out a $100 not $200. Larry said he did not make the game or talk money and he thought he was being put in action not going up on the action.

I saw Larry send in the cash when he made his own games and he seemed to recieve alot more than he paid. Larry plays good all games.

I agree if you are gambling put the money up first no matter who you are gambling with and how much.
