What kind of wood is the foream made of there? Is it some kind of a stained maple?

Im not sure about the forearm i think it maple just bad lighting in that picture.

The ebony hustler is a maple forearm with an "antique" stain that makes the maple look very old.
Larry....as far as performance...you can do no better. Ultra sweet pair.
Nice to have you back in the family.:D

This cue was originally made for a friend of mine here in Charlotte...the cat logo was his request. He recently had to quit pool due to health issues and a friend of his on here sold the cue to Zcat...who sold it to Larry. I thought the logo looked neat....just something different compared to the basic "314". :)
 
Ok. I guess there the old 6 segment Predator shafts cause the cat usually covers two segment of the newer shafts. Looks kinda odd with it only covering one segment. Wish I had my old one back but it died.

The picture is playing tricks on your eyes...its a new 314-2 shaft.:)
