I've always said that I go to VF with two agendas... watch great pool and drink with my friends. Mission accomplished! :D

Wed night was the charity pro am event and this was my first time attending this part of the expo. It was very enjoyable and you could tell that both the pros & the ams were having a blast. They were also having challenge the pro matches for charity. LOL, I played Tony Crosby & Lee Chenman (aka Bobby) and they were giving me the 3 out in a race to 3, loser buys the winner a beer. I've said many times over that I cannot play pool. As bad as I already play, I played worse! The 1st night & I was down two beers. :p

Thur was the 1st meet & greet. Myself, Eydie, Bob, Fred, & Jimbo were there. I wasn't expecting many people the 1st couple of nights anyway. It was nice to finally meet Jimbo.

Later we went to the Fury booth where there were a few more folks...(I played every bit as bad as I did on Wed:( ) Baker 6x6 & his friend, Icon of Sin & his dad Bob.... UGH, I can see the faces but the rest of the names escape me. I knew I should've written them down. LOL, this is why I hate making posts after meeting numerous folks from on here. The 1st person from AZ that I met was on Wed night and that was Railbird. It's a small world.... Railbird & I have been to many of the same places.

I saw a friend of mine in the stands on Thur night on their computer. Once I knew there was high speed in the pro arena, I had a great idea!

After the matches were over, I headed up to Jeeves' party. People kept buying us beer at the pro arena and then I went up to party & started drinking agent orange.... UGH!!! High noon on Fri is when I awoke with a pounding headache!

I'm still terribly tired & there's just too much to put in one post. I'll give more tomorrow... more details, more names... more when my mind isn't fried and I can think of more! I'll also have a couple of pics from Jeeves' party.... Watch out Fred, there's a really pretty red head in one or two of these party pics! :p

Great coverage, Timberly, on the Pro 8-Ball tournament. You're to be commended. I know the inquiring minds back home who couldn't attend the SBE this year appreciated this a whole bunch. :)

I'm still recovering myself from the SBE. Sleep is such a wonderful thing! :p

Looking forward to reading more when time allows you to post.:)

Hi, Jamison. It was a real pleasure meeting you. I will make sure Keith gets your message and gives you a ring.

Keith and I are like two ships passing in the night, still catching up on sleep, having left the party at 4:30 a.m. yesterday morning. I'm just now getting back up to speed. Sleep is such a wonderful thing! :p

Hi Guys

Joey nice seeing you all again also. I am going to be in Chicago for Bob and Eydie's Expo. I am looking foward to it and I can't wait to play pool with you all again. Glad you enjoyd the shows and wan't you to know that is the reason I shoot all those crazy shots so I can plant smiles everywhere I go.

We have lot's of new additions to our staff for 07 that include Bobby Weimer from FURY and Jamison Neu. WCO is a great time with a lot of people and great pool but not close to SBE, nothing is!

Friday was another crazy day... all days the were crazy... I had too much on my plate by trying to do everything!

I had a list of all the vendors from here that said they were going to be there and Eydie and I walked around trying to meet everyone. There were quite a few that weren't at their booths and I was going to make another round later but didn't get the chance because I started doing the tournament updates. Sorry Classicues... I really did want to get over to the booth and see the cues!

Friday's meet & greet consisted of myself, Eydie, Koop, and his friend Matt. Jamison also stopped by for a while. I sure would like to know where the heck everyone else was. There were a lot more people from here that were already there that never showed up to them. Both Thur & Fri I left the tourney arena during matches that I wanted to watch for the meet & greet. I started doing the tourney updates later on Fri night so on Sat, I didn't even bother with the meet & greet. Eydies computer bag was massive & I wasn't going to go through the trouble of loading it up, and rolling through all those people only to have it be Eydie, myself.

I was feeling pretty rough all day Fri because I had stayed up too late & drank a little too much on Thur. I didn't do too much drinking on Fri because I didn't want to feel like that again. :o I didn't get out of the pro arena until about 2 am so I only stopped up at the party for a short while.

Sat was much better... I felt much better and I got to see ScottR & Koop more than just passing in the hallway! They sat in the tourney room with me and we took turns doing beer runs. It was nice to just hang out in a relaxed atmosphere with them instead of wading through the crowd of people. ScottR & Koop, thanks for hanging out with me on Sat night & keeping me company & bringing me beers! ;)

I got a call from a big brass fro SBE (Ralph) who said that people were looking for the M&G while we were at the bar.. Interesting enough, the people he was calling for never showed up.

So will the mystery callers please fess up!

Sat was spent in the pro arena all day & all night....if you read the Sat tourney updates then you'll know what I was doing. :p

My buddy from Staten Island had his daughter & her b/f come down for the night so after I got out of the pro arena (between 2 & 3am) I headed upstairs to the party. It was in full swing. It was fun but the room was too small for the crowd. Hopefully Jeeves will do this again and he'll be able to get the suite on the 14th floor. Koop & Matt came up for a couple of beers & then headed to the pit. Mika, Raj, T-Rex, Lee Chenman, Frank Alvarez and a slew of other folks from vendors to expo staff were in & out at the party. There were different faces each night at the party. I never did see a wrist band, I don't know if he ended up giving them out or not.

This was my first expo since I've been posting on AZ & I piled too much on my plate. Next yr I'm going to stick to my old routine... watch the pro event & head up to the party afterwards. If someone else sets up a meet greet, I'll stop by on the days that I can but I'm not going to try to set it up and then try to find everyone & meet everyone... it's too much.

I would like to apologize to anyone if I came across as rude or being mad, because I really wasn't. I was just really busy trying to do everything. RSB-Refugee, I didn't realize who you were. I recognized you but didn't remember exactly who you were. When you hit a few of the tourneys you start seeing a lot of the same faces and you can't remember exactly who they are or where you met them at. Again, I apologize to anyone that might think I was ignoring you or was angry with you. I truly didn't mean to come across that way with anyone.

The two people I saw the most was Rich R & Cathy (Kathy??). They're pool fanatics like myself and everytime I was in the pro arena they were in there too. :p

Koop & Eydie, it was GREAT to finally meet ya'll in person! ScottR, it was so good to see you again.... you know I luv ya! I was watching pool & you were in cue heaven. Hopefully next yr (I know you're going again :D ) we'll get a chance to spend more time hanging out. ;)

9 ball girl did you ever leave the pit??? :p

Barbara, Railbird, Icon of Sin, Baker 6x6, Classiccues, Jimbo, Eric and everyone else that I met whose screen name escapes me right now...it was a pleasure meeting all of you guys. It's always nice to put a face to the screen name. Did anyone else get to see how cute little LandShark is?!?!? She was sleeping so I didn't get to hold her but she is definitely a mini LS :p

Breakup, a speacial thanks to you for getting the signed JL pic to the hotel for the pizza guy! I got the pic & gave it to you Eric... that was a really cool thing for you to do, thank you!

Pics to come shortly!

When I got to see you, I was on hour 33 or so of no sleep LOL. It was not a restful weekend by any stretch of the imagination. I got to talk to
Blud and meet his daughter Lisa,
Cornerman Fred,
Eydie,
Keith McCready very briefly, I was looking out for JAM, but never saw her.
Jack Madden's booth but he was out and about.
I got to meet Jim Murnak and personally thank him for the case I won.
OnePocketChump John.
There were many others, I had hoped to see, but there was not enough time.
Maybe I can go again sometime. I had a really good time, even if it was too brief.

Tracy

Here's a few pics. I didn't get too many because I was mostly in the tournament room and when I wasn't in the tournament room I would forget to take pics. There were so many people that I wanted to get pics of and I'm kicking myself in the rear now for not remembering. :(

Lee Chenman (Bobby), Tony T-Rex Chohan, & Raj Hundal
