Mystery Cue w/Fellini Case on eBay

Searing, Tascarella and Southwest is now the hottest cuemakers, very smart marketing move to suggest the cue as being such.

I asked for more pictures for the cue. Noticed that 1. Points are not even. 2. The inlay work for the diamond looks poor. 3. Notch Diamond weird lookin and looks shorter

This cue evidently cant be a Searing, Tascarella or Southwest. The Fellini case would have u believed otherwise.

Just my 2 cts.

cue reminds me of one my dad bought in japan in the 60s

we see a couple of such copies and i must admit that was what crossed my mind too.. Anyway 1100 now for a magic mystery cue? I guess ppl are always hoping they get lucky and get a gem for nothing..

Looks like a Spain forearm, mid to late 1960's. The buttcap - rings- it all looks like a Balabushka to me.
I've got a Palmer with the same gold ring on the shafts.Chris don't you think they look like Palmer shafts?

While the brown bumper suggest something, the flat head screw says otherwise.. Hm..Plot thickens...

I'm beggining to wonder if it's a Balabushka knock off. It's not a Palmer for sure.

Thats what I think it is. Quite possibly early Richard Black Bushka replica or along those lines. A few of them around. Forearm still looks like Spain, points too short to be Szam.

Verl Horn?

u know what, i remembered my 2 Old Verl Horns had brown bumpers and had a flathead screw securing the buttcap. also, Verl Horn did made a few bushka knockoffs with Spain forearms. And his early cues are not marked. Could it be a Horn???

Here's what bothers me. When I contacted him about the rubber bumper, part of his response was that about 4 people have told him it might be a Bushka. If someone were kind enough to give me that info, I would have to pull the auction and send the cue to Tascarella for authentication, and then re-list...well, I wouldn't (I'd keep it).:p
