I Also Posted This In The Main Forum, But I Know The Group of Guys In This Section the Best, So I Wanted To Be Sure You Guys Saw It:

A Friend And I Are Opening A Pool Hall In Northeast Pennsylvania. We're Having Trouble Coming Up With A Creative Original Name. Any Help Or Suggestions Would Be Appreciated.

Can you give us a little more info on the format...upscale, action room, bar & grill, etc.?

IT'S AN EIGHT TABLE ROOM. NOT UPSCALE, BUT NOT A HOLE IN THE WALL EITHER. THERE IS A DECENT AMOUNT OF ACTION, WITH HOPEFULLY MORE TO COME. NO BAR, JUST POOL, AND GAMES.

LISA, WE LIKE THAT ONE AS WELL. IT'S ON OUR SHORT LIST, ALONG WITH "THE POOL ROOM", "TIGHT POCKETS" AND "BREAK-TIME"

Golden Cue - this was the name of place that was in NYC that closed down. Lots of action and heavy weight players.
 
I have always wanted to set up a place called The Sunken 8.

Dome shaped building though so it fit better, but I still like the name.

Pool Hall names

During the Johnson City Tournaments, the back room used to be called the CUE CLUB.
Also, I had a friend who was from the South and he had a great name for a hall-he said "I'd call it CUE ROCK"
