I liked your previous suggestions of "Strokies" & "Stroklahoma" but this latest one, "Kickin' & Steamin" has a real nice ring to it. And with "Kickin' " getting top billing, it's a real winner, I think. :grin-square:

I can see the billboard now: Ya'll get dragged here Kickin' & Screamin' for a real good time at Kickin' & Steamin'.

Maybe Shawn could also hire Tramp's poor widow momma to do cue repair or pole dancin' or something. I think I heard somewhere that she's willing to work for tips... :eek:

So, I've just been promoted to morning manager here at Cracker Barrel. They don't pay a whole lot but I get to eat as much chicken-fried steak as I want. At first I was a little queazy about eating this, being a chicken and all, but when you're desperate...

ftgokie, if you're reading this; we've been real patient. Throw us a bone, man; tell us what your top 5 or 10 choices are. :)

Most of your customers will not care about pool references. I have customers that come in for years and years and still dont know our name. They just tell their friends to come up to the "Pool Hall". Thats it. 44 years of advertising and marketing. Giant neon signs on our building. Thousands of Tee shirts and merchandise with our name. And half our customers dont know the name. Just call it "The Pool Hall" or "OK Pool Hall" I kinda like the second one. Has possibility with marketing.

"Hey, how is that new pool hall you went to last night"

"It was OK"

"Ok Pool Hall"

I always thought THAT SLEEZY OLD POOL HALL would be a good name...with a rat (like RAT FINK from days gone by) holding a pool cue, leaning up against a wall as a logo. Of course, seeing you're from Oklahoma, you could use a Coyote in stead (not quite as sleezy though).

You'd get plenty of plugs from them little old ladies..."Oh that's just THAT SLEEZY OLD POOL HALL". Or when asked..."Oh he's down at THAT SLEEZY OLD POOL HALL!!" You get the picture.

Good hunting (for a name) and good luck in your venture.
