We've all been looking for samples and there they are.........Wheat cues!:embarrassed2:
 
After closer observations, I noticed that the veneers are not, or do not look like, they split right down the middle, like traditional V-Grooved Veneers should, where the V is cut into the veneers before glued to the point. It looks more like 'butt splice' as a full time cuemaker called it.

Any more clues Ryan?
 
They are all cues built BEFORE 1985. Only one name given has been correct but you have to figure out which name and which cue. :p
