Natural Phenolic

I'm wondering how you guys get the darker color when using the natural phenolic!?

I've got some pieces for the joint and butt from Cue Components and it's a darker brown color now; however, when I machine it it turns into a light tan color

How do I or, how can I get the dark brown color back

Phenolic pieces can be stained. I recently had a customer who wanted a phenolic joint & butt cap, but wanted it darker, to contrast with the lighter color of the maple. I used a Walnut stain. It looked great...JER

Hello Ken, contact Atlas Billiards Supply, they have begun carrying a dark Natural phenolic in Mahogany. I just ordered some, I will let you know how it is when I receive it.

Thanks Craig, it's weird starts out dark (maybe stained?) and turns a nice tan color nothing wrong with the tan color but I'd love to have the darker color

Just wait. It gets darker as it ages. The mahogany from atlas looks nice right from the start.
