LOL, I gotta give this a try.. "F you, you Fing Fhead"????

Or would it be "Verb you, you adjectiving nounhead."

Am I close? What do I win?

Leave out the "head" and you are de winner. You win dinner with John -- he's buying :-)

Lou Figueroa

John, maybe we can get Joey to do a PowerPoint on CTE at the onepocket.org dinner in Vegas?

Lou Figueroa
lol, sometimes
I crack myself up :-)

Be sure to provide him with some colored laser pointers so he simulate all those parallel lines (or do they intersect, I get confused). He can also show you one heck of a pivot with those things, huh? Now, no throwing your garden salads at the speaker!

It always cracks me up: you must come to CTE with "an open mind"; really, really want to learn it; watch the DVD 20 or 30 times; take the lessons; drink the Kool-Aid; and give it, oh... six to eight years of your life to give it a fair chance to kick in.

Step up to the plate, figueroa!! Don't pick on John!! Let's see you pick on Stevie!! Put your $20,000 where it really counts!! You wouldn't know whether to spit or swallow!! ....... Who let you out of your sandbox??

Knock if off, pablo. You lost the battle already, and you'll eventually loose the war. Join UNNA while you still can. :)

Forget Stevie.... Maybe Lou can try to fade 16-year old Landon at some 14.1 or a race to 100. I'll make sure Landon wears his Kool Aide shirt for the trouncing.

Oh no, the ole showdown statement has been brought forth.

Too bad it is meaningless. No matter what the outcome, the only thing the match would prove is how well one person executed their aiming method over the other and really doesn't prove anything about that method.

Can I pick any 14.1 player to go up against the young gun? You up for that kinda challenge? There are a few local 14.1 players that you give them one shot and its light outs.

But again, all this would prove is one is just more skilled at ball making and the system used means nothing.

The only thing the matters in pool is making the shot you want to. Its just that simple.

I get a sense that people that are hard core system user do so thinking that the use of a system takes them out of the performance equation. This way, if something goes wrong, it was the systemed that failed and not the application of the system which means them.

The simpler the better. My way is the simplest around. My way explains everything. The only thing is the info is so valuable, I'm afraid to let it all out cause everypro would then flock to it, all the other system sells would fall drasiclty, basiclly, it would cause utter chaos in the pool world. I'm not sure if I want to be responible for that.

One more tip: The OB and CB always go where you hit them. This is not just a simple statement. If they don't go where you wanted them to, it is because you hit them wrong. As such there should be no doubt as to why you it them wrong.

If you do not know why you missed, no system in the world will help you.

If you are not learning on why you missed, you can not make affect adjustments in aiming.

If you miss and have a stare as to why, you got a ways to go.

Come on Dave.
This sounds very high school of you.

Like the pool room newbie who talks a big game, but who never wants to gamble, and when asked, dishes off action to obviously better players, who then rides the guy who asked him to play initially, why he doesn't want to gamble with the guy.
As if to imply that by the guy not wanting to play the top dog, the guy who never plays, is all special now or something.
Just ridiculous.

Continuing along those lines, why not pit YOUR CTE skills against Efren or VanVan, or Orcullo?

Oh i'm sorry, did that sound ridiculous?

If Lou and John have a beef and one of the two opens their mouth with a challenge, let them settle it.

Do not put words in my mouth or I will put them in yours and you will not like the taste.

I don't think he's a liar -- a shill, maybe (probably).

Lou,

Whatsa matta Lou, you don't like getting the needle?

No one has to put words in your mouth. They can just read what you write. Stevie has openly said that he uses Pro One. You say that he does not. That is in essence calling the man a liar. Now you're calling him a shill.
What class you have!

As far as that little threat of yours is concerned, I won't be hard to find Lou, I'll be in Las Vegas in May. Let me know if you would like a "meeting"!

BTW, just so you know, I am declining your previous invitation for the dinner in Vegas. I don't have the stomach for sitting across the table from the likes of you.[/COLOR]

That's telling him, Joey. Not having dinner with you will break his heart. I know it would mine. Not seeing you shining countinance from across the table. Not hearing those words of wisdom spew forth from your yapper like shit from a goose's ass. Yep. That'll teach him a lesson. :D:D:D:D:D

Not a bad idea :-) Unfortunately, for Joey, this particular crowd is not too receptive to the whole CTE thing. He'd probably get a few dinner rolls throwed his way.

How about this -- I mean since you think someone who believes in CTE playing someone who doesn't would actually prove something -- at the DCC this year I was in the 14.1 Challenge room and, unsolicited, one of the pro players who occasionally posts here, is aware of all this controversy, and my participation, started joking with me. This guy, who plays a little straight pool (think *really* big runs), said the whole idea was bogus and that none of the pros he knew used it. He wrapped up his comments by saying, "CTE -- pluleese, what a total joke."

So I'll put up that guy :-)

HA, HA, HA!

A little touchy this morning, are we :-)

You should read your post again later today when you calm down and reflect on the meaning of the word "class." I won't take you off the dinner list right away and will give you time to see I was joking with you. If you can't see that and still want out, I'll take you off the list tomorrow.

Lou Figueroa
OK, nevermind. I just saw that, in your little snit fit, you took yourself off the list on the other group.
You really are a piece of work, Joey.

Awww geeze, Lou. I didn't know you were kidding with the threat. I didn't see any smiley faces but since you were joking, we're all good.

Darn, it's crazy how the written word can be taken so seriously. I'll be more careful in the future about responding to your posts. I don't mean any ill will toward you. You know that.

Kumbaya!

A friend took a lesson from a pro that has all the same characteristics as you mentioned and that pro made a mockery of CTE. Pretty sure it's the same guy. Not that this proves anything. :)

Uh oh, I fear we're going to hear about Francisco again :scratchhead:

When they interview the pro's for "What's in your case", they should ask each of them what aiming system they use and not edit out the laughs. Johnnyt
