nbll01 aka Albrecht Custom Cues Missing?

Anyone knows what happened to him? Trying to contact him regarding my orders and still have not heard from him..
Isn't he in the middle of moveing to Az. U-Haul type thing. ???

I had two shafts ordered in january and jont proectors and pin switch. about a month and a half when he said would be done i contacted him and he said hed had a family emergency in California understandable and hes not sure whencan bem home. ever week and or half or so tried getting ahold ofhim was very hard and i didnt get much tthis went on for like 3 months all he said was he hoped to be one soon and get stuff to me. Then didnt hear from him for like a month or so even called 2 numbers never got anything. somewhere in this tme though i had gotten word that Dave was at a small tourney at Kolbys in Arizona and the person had thought hed moved back there. I had still getting no word about this or my stuff until like 3 weeks ago. He PMed m,e then and said he was working on my order and othes and hoped to send stuff out real soon. I PMed him back nd got nothing. I posted some of my story a little while back then i got 3-4 Other PMs from people who also had problems like mine. 1 even waitng a year for joint protectors.
Im not sure whats going on with Dave butseems hes got some Problems or something i just wish he could be alot clearer with people nd let them know whats going on.

A feind of mine bought some bird-eye shaft blanks from Dave in feb or March, and dave told wayne that he was moveing to Az. I don't any more than that, I personally don't comunicate with Dave very often. Jim

To Dave's friend, kindly help to straighten this issue. Kindly give us information about dave. I know he is a good guy but what he is giving to me now is a bad experience.

He has not had internet access for over a month now.
I don't know why he is not answering his phone when you call.
I have given him the information that you all have pm'ed me and let him know what I think about this whole situation. I am not going to make any excuses for him and have told him the way I feel about all this. He is stuck in a really hard spot right now, just got laid off and evicted and is trying to get back on his feet. Again this is not an excuse. I am telling you what I know.
I have passed on your messages and do not wish to get any more in the middle of this then I already have.

stories like this really burn it in my head "NEVER PAY 100% UP FRONT!"
The last cue I ordered I paid abotu 15% down and the rest due upon completion.
I was aware that some people had not recieved their stuff but did not know it was to the degree that it is.
I am a little disgusted right now.

I along with many other people have never had any problems. Unfortunately, there is a small group that have. I have told him that he should be communicating with you all. I see he hasn't yet.

Yes Dave didn't respond to me as well. Let's say my cues supposed to be ready in this June, but I never got any updates, pictures so i can select the woods, so I guess he didn't started them. Until about 2 months ago, I communicate with him really well when I had questions or needed some help or technical info about tips, small repairs ... I mean he responded to my mails. Then he told me he has some family problems and asked me to be patient. But never answer any of my mails or PM regarding a true update over the cues.
Now I don't want to strike a man when he has serious problems, but if he is so down how can he can be in a pool tournament, and he can not find any internet in America for 10 minutes to send all of us a message to explain the situation ? Just be a man and tell us the truth and you will be more appreciate. I started by dreaming that I have found a cue just how I liked, woods, BP, weight .......Now it's starting to be real painful this experience. I play with a 30 $ cue, cause I sold mine to order this ones.
I guess a refund is out of the question. Now all of the people that knows him tell me he is a good guy. I feel he is a good guy. But this is not an excuse for not showing yourself. I appreciate more a sincere man that a running man.
I hope I will not be forced to move this in front of the authorities.

I bought a cue from Dave amid his initial family crisis. I had him add matching fancy protectors to the already finished cue. It took some weeks of prodding but he delivered a beautiful product eventually. If you are out some money and anxious, send a private message and push, but I hope this doesn't turn into another trash the cuemaker thread. At least my experience has been better than that. I may sell the cue some day, but regardless, it is fine work and ultimately, for me, was worth the wait.
