nbll01 aka Albrecht Custom Cues Missing?

Seems like he is completely broke. May be he is a victim of the economy and he doesnt have anything to pay back.But I feel he should just face the people and tell them his side of story.A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.
But take it easy guys, surely he wont be in a good situation right now.A thousand or two is not enough money he can live on for the rest of his life or worth going out of business for,or to loose his respect.I think he should be genuinely into a lot of trouble.

I think your right, even if no one will ever get the product or the money, he should still come farword and tell everyone what happened. While it will not fix the problem it will certainly allow closure.

the economy's hitting everyone i guess. but that still doesn't make it all right for him to be taking peoples money and not giving anyone anything for it. these people're dealing with the hard times too.
 
Right ... I am not prepared to let it go, for me 700 $ is a lot of money, I am not ready to let go. If this is not going anyware and he doesn't show, I am thinking of filing a complaint ..........

You mean legal action? i mean getting him banned on here isn't going to get you your dough back
 
I'm sorry after reading this I had to chime in.

This guy is taking money with the agreement to make a cue. If he cannot produce the said cue the money should be shipped back. I consider this to be theft.

Let me make an analogy. Lets say you paid some roofing company to repair your roof. You pay them thousands up front. They then decide they are going to pocket the money and not repair the roof. Its the same thing.

What if some guy sold a cue on here and never shipped the cue after taking the money. He would be strung up. I have seen it before. How is this any different?

Sorry I am not sympathetic to people who steal from others. He did not handle this properly at all.

I do not remember if i mentioned this in previous post i also sent in my a butt of a cue for mine for a pin switch? Anyone have any ideas on what happened to it.?

If I were you I would contact the person who purchased all his equipment and materials, he may have it, he posted a few pages back in this thread.

well, i just tried to call him few minutes ago and he is not willing to pick up the phone.
i just hope he still have the intention of clearing this mezz..
 
Here is a cue Mr. Albrecht was very proud of (purple heart and tiger maple box cue) and he placed its picture on the first page of his cue gallery. He told me he would want close to $1000 to build a similar cue.

Madfox, I bought this cue, added matching protectors (like those on the middle cue in the picture) then hit a few balls and put it away. If you are interested in the cue, I'll take $700 off the price and sell for $300 plus shipping. Yes I bought it cheap, but nowhere near that cheap.

Nice offer indeed ! Thanks a lot, but for the moment I don't have this amount for the cue, and I expect the draw line regarding this matter with Dave before deciding what to do next.

Im curious, what do you guys and gals think this will do to the value of Dave's cues? Think they will go up, down, or not change at all??
