Here's one that will get clear coat this weekend and will be ready to go by the middle of next week.

4 Amboyna Burl Points on Cocobolo. 4 Veneers. Thuya Burl Handle.

Buyer had something come up, so it is available. Will include 2 shafts with rings matching the rest of the cue and I'm asking $750 delivered.

those woods appear to be very expensive , gorgeous however!
it looks LETHAL! , a real KILL SHOT cue!
i can't beleive the buyer walked away from a most stunning work.
may i ask , have you considered to inlay the cue at all?

I considered it when I started it, but I think the inlays would take away from the wood. That piece of Amboyna is gorgeous.

I don't think the Buyer walked away by choice. I think he had some personal issues come up.

Forearm, Handle and Butt section are all cored. I haven't weighed it yet, but am estimating it will end up somewhere between 19 and 19.5 oz.

Tony- I just posted the link to this thread in the "Wanted/For Sale" forum, I hope you don't mind, but thought there would be many more folks looking to buy a cue there than here. Beautiful cue, wish I could buy it myself.
:p

That is a really nice cue...love that burl. Bet it will be really sweet with a coat of finish.

What Is The Joint Material? What Type Of Ferrules Will Be On The Cue? Can You Do Matching Predators? (what If I Provide The Blank) Thanks For Your Time.

Joint Material is Phenolic. I normally use LBM Ferrules, but can do something else. If you provide the blanks, I'll match them up and include the other two shafts as well.

Thanks

marcus, i already have one of tony's cues and another on the way. his points are really great and with that piloted joint they play pretty well. i'll vouch for tony if you are thinking about his cue.

Are The Veneer Colors Baby Blue, Maple, Brown, Black? That's What They Look To Be.

Guy And I Spoke About Yours Cues, And I Am Interested, I Just Need To Think It Over. I'd Love To See The Butt With Spray On It Before I Make Up My Mind.

P.s. The Work Looks Very Nice

This Cue Looks Awesome. I'm Gonna Sleep On It, And See What I Think In The Morning. Even If I Don't Buy It, It's Still An Awesome Cue.

Gorgeous!

Gorgeous cue Tony.....best of luck with the sale!

Somebody is going to be very happy with this cue for sure ;)

Cue is sold pending payment. Will finish up the shafts today or tomorrow and post final pics with the shafts.

Thanks
