i understand that 6'6" is tall but i don't think 60" cues play as well as 57-58" cues.i definitely wouldn't go to 62".something seems to get lost in the playability after 58" or so.i don't know why.i have heard it is harmonics, but that really goes beyond my knowledge of wood.i am 6'2"(i like 57.5" cues)and tried this idea of longer cues for taller players 1-2 years ago.out of 5-6 i bought,i only found one that played good and still it wasn't as good as it's 58inch counterpart.i have had 7-8 cues by the same guy and one was 60" and played OK,but everyone of his 58" cues played better.i have talked to many others that had the same experience as i did.i am sure you will find some people here that say it doesn't matter.i will say one thing for sure that when you find one make sure it is an even split.you really don't want a 29" butt and 31" shaft,or a similar set up.good luck and sorry to ramble, but i thought i might save you some headache if this is your first try on the long cues.
