Need a cheap break cue...

I am looking to purchase a cheap break cue to save the tip on my playing cue and hopefully help out my break a little. The 2 break cues I have been looking at are the J&J JB and the Spark break cue. I already have a Bunjie jump cue.. I have read good reviews on the J&J JB but could not find many reviews of the Spark break cue. Can some of you give me your thoughts and help me make a decision?

Thank in advance!

A friend of mine has a Sparks and it smashes the rack.

I took an old Viper with a stiff shaft and put a Picone White Diamond tip on it and it also smashes the rack, but being non phenolic it holds chalk better and CB control is improved.

I do like the versatility of the J&J also giving me an extra jump cue.

The J&J can be purchased for 60 buck from AZ member and the Spark can be purchased for around 70 on the Internet so they are very close in price.

So how much better does the Spark break cue "smash em" compared to the J&J?

Tough decisions...

I have j&j jump/breaks for $65.00 shipped and players jb5 jump/breaks for $80.00 shipped. thanks tim

I've had a J&J going on 4 years now. Still love it. If you're all about form following function then the J&J is for you.

i have had a J&J break/jump for 5-6 years, and it absolutely crushes the rack .

I have a J&J 4414 for over 10 years and its been a great jump/break cue. I still use it today. I changed out the ferrules and tips to an ivorine ferrule and triangle tip, works great! Also get a spare shaft while you're at to give yourself tip/ferrule options to try out or even if you shoot where phenolics aren't allow and want to use a shaft with a leather tip, but still want to hold onto a phenolic just in case.
