So I have these 2 prather forearms ( ebony titlist , blues and violet)
Would like the characteristics of these other three combind
like the dimensions of the top cue .845 joint,1.20 buttcap
like the feel of stack wrap in middle cue
like the wide points and smaller hoppe ring in the bottom one
like a thinwalled 1/2 stainless joint with black/black with ring collars either 3/8x10 brass ,g-10 or 5/16x14 piloted
like a 1/4 to 3/8 black phenolic collar between base of points and wrap

BOTH FOREARMS OUT TO CUEMAKERS TO BE FINISHED

So no replys yet
No one wants to work with prather forearm?
Specs too thin ? can go up a little
Cant do stack wrap?
Thought I would get one or two at least

Wow...sounds like you know exactly what you want to end up with. Not sure why someone hasn't jump on this for you...sometimes knowing exactly what you want can be the easiest way to go..but leaves little flexibility for creative opportunities.

If no one jumps on this...pm me and we can talk about how to help you with what you want.

Many cue makers use sanding mandrels and you need to find someone who finishes at .845 and wants to do that compound butt taper to your specs.

Also not all CMs do or wish to do stack wraps.

Sounds like who ever made the other cues is a perfect match to the job.

Would you bring a dozen eggs to a restaurant and ask them to make you a breakfast of ham and eggs using your eggs???

Ummm, when they do conversions is it a problem? What about the burton Spain blanks era, etc..... Cue makers have been doing it for a while, I don't see the issue.

Can you make a veneered forearm where the points touch at the bottom like these Maybe I will ask you to make my next cue

Let me see a pic of your work

Anyway the first cue was done allready (pic above)
I think it looks good and has a good feel

The other forearm should be finished by another cuemaker in the next couple weeks and I hope it turns out as well as this one

First cue is done (pic above) Next should be done in a couple of weeks
Straight taper on the butt I think
You should try to learn how to do a stack wrap,of the dozen leather wrapped cues I have I like stacked the best
