Need Help Advice

I recently sold a cue to a member here. Goes by "Integrale". He lives in Germany.

mailed it USPS and pm'ed him that the cue had been mailed. He PM'ed back and said he would let me know when the cue arrived.

Hadn't heard anything so I check USPS tracking with the number and it says this.....

"We attempted to deliver your item in GERMANY at 11:20 AM on May 13, 2008."

I come on here and PM him and it says he hasn't been on the forum since

"05-09-2008 10:50 AM"

So there's a Sugar Tree sitting in Germany and I don't know what has happened to the guy........

hey..as long as you did your part of job and business your fine..is not like you didn't ship..you already shipped and is around his area so i guess maybe his out partyin or something ...maybe he got it and his too happy with the cue and go huslter on it =)
 
This is not uncommon. On the Customs form there is a section that asks what you want to do in case the item is undelivered. What choice did you make?

this means, that the item was delivered to regional customs. they will inform the buyer in 2-3 days, that the cue can be picked up.

that's the normal way, don't worry!

b.t.w. nice cue you sold to him! maybe i'll see it in action somewhere...

Intl shipments sometimes get tied up in customs. Give it time.
I'd guess if there's a delivery problem You will hear from him.
Good of you to follow-up on the shipment.
I trust you got his tel#.

No, no tel number with Paypal.

I'll give it a couple more days to see if he gets ahold of me through here.

I see this too often here - people trying to get ahold of people thru the forum.
For a variety of reasons people may be away for awhile and don't check the forum or PMs.
Not trying to ping you personally but just think it's good biz, whether one is a buyer or seller,
to get a phone number in case there's a problem or concern with a transaction.

I don't ship overseas very often, twice in fact, and I'm probably a little too worried about him getting it.

When I saw the message on the USPS site, I assumed they had actually attempted to deliver it and weren't able to. Then when I see he hasn't been on here in a few days, I really started wondering. :)
 
I found out you can have the same problem , to certain areas , right here in the U.S.of A . Jim
