I know there is a table mechanics forum but my post has been there for a few days now and has had no response so i figured i'd try here. A friend of mine has a Gandy Super G 9 foot table and needs to know which grade of rubber to use for the rails. He thinks its K66 (this is what a friend of ours thinks who works on tables), but not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

K66

K66 is pretty much a standard for pool table rubber. i would say go ahead and use it, most likely came with K66 when it was new anyways.

K-66 is the designation of a profile - not a grade.
That said, once upon a time, Gandy<Big G days> they
and everybody except Brunswick, AFAIK, used k-66.

If it were me, I would most def ry to locate someone who
had been a dealer and doublecheck.

I'm assuming you're talking about a Gandy "Big G" if so they did use a K-66 profile, Artemis is the best rubber you can get although it is pricey but hey you get what you pay for, right? :D I've also heard good things about the new Championship Tour Edition cushions as well.
