Valley 6 1/2 coin op table......I’m gonna get one.
Will aramith 2 1/4 inch balls work fine?
For example, if I set it for free play will the numbered and cue ball travel the spider system ok?
Thx in advance for your help.

Maybe I am not that smartest guy but every Valley Bar Box I have seen is 7.0' X 3.5' never saw a 6.5' Valley Bar Table.

Standand Ball Set should work, measure pockets. 2-1/4" should be OK.

Thx cowboy

They made lots of 6.5 footers.
My biggest concern is how the balls will interact with the spider tray system under.
Thx again

Yes. No worries they will work just fine. The cue ball will return to main ballbox though. Unless you use an oversized cue ball or steel core (magnetic) ball.

I am in the market for a bar box for my oldest son. He doesn't play enough to pay for a Diamond and Valleys can be bought for under $500, some as cheap as $200.

I also have never heard of Valleys other that a 3.5 x 7. Although when I was a kid there were 3 x 6 coinop tables in bars but I don't believe they were Valleys.

im guessing not, bars use bigger cue ball or magnets to send it to a different subway, otherwise youll be ok. unless youre using it as a piggy bank

Go to Texas. Its changing now but all that state used to have was 3x6 Valley's. Those "cracker boxes" were/are all over the south.

That's what I played on in the '60's in Joe's Last Chance Saloon. They make you feel like Willie.

Aramith balls work fine, the CB not so much.
So, you can use the magnetic cue ball and aramith balls and be in fat-city.
Or, you can pull the ball release and pick the CB from the cluster.

I was some place in Arkansas in the mid-80s...four days in a row I ate breakfast at the
same place...it had what I thought was a 6-footer..had never heard of 6.5.
I don’t have very much experience on a bar box....every day I gave myself three tries...
...to break and run out at 8-ball....in 12 tries I never had a chance...
...a bar box specialist would’ve murdered me on that table.
