Need help identifying this cue........

I just traded for this cue, and I'd love to know who made it. Its a 5/16-14
piloted joint, and has 4 points with 4 veneers. The only marking that I saw
was the letter M or the number 3 written inside the wall of the butt where
the cap goes. I don't know if its the original brown buttcap or not. Any help
would be truly appreciated. Thanks, Dom.

It might be a...,

I had a very similar cue about 6 years ago, I was told it was a Jensen. I never got the opportunity to verify, but it looked a lot like yours, Great cue!

Perhaps the M is really a 3? Not only is the cue a beauty,
it looks like a great playing cue? Sorry, not a clue...so
this is really a bump. :)

Your absolutely right pwd. It could easily be a 3. Thanks for the
compliments guys. I really like the cue too. I just got it yesterday, and
haven't had a chance to take it for a spin. Soon enough.:thumbup:Keep
the opinions coming. I appreciate it.

The ring work and the weight bolt/bumper are exactly like my custom Jacoby. I had my butt cap replaced with a thicker one also because the original was thin and broke easy. Just a possibility. Same pin he uses too.

Thanks Ron, I'll send them an email too. Wanna see it in person? Gonna
be down in your parts again next weekend. Cant wait to check
out the new spot!

looks like the cue could use a top notch refinish from this guy' he is running a special that you should take advantage of...

Yeah, she has some dings in her.:D I sent a JW over to Scott at Proficient
and could not be happier with the results. If I send the cue out, chances
are that the cue is going there. No offense to Mr. Klapp.

YES! :D I take it you're driving down? Let me and/or Peteypooldude know when you're coming down and I'll let you know everything that's going on at that time and hopefully meet up with you.. I'm in Austin right now and will be back next week. The beach is HAWT and crowded when I left. Talk to you soon. Ron

No clue as to what it could be but i never even thought of M. It looks like a 3 to me. Nice looking cue though.

Thanks guys, emails are going out tonight. Just a little bump to see if
anyone else has an opinion.

MARTINEZ AND JENSEN WOULD BE MY FIRST 2 GUESSES AS WELL AT THIS POINT.

THE BACKEND SETUP IS ODD, THAT WILL BE THE IDENTIFIER ON THIS CUE. THE BUMPER/BOLT/CAP SETUP IS UNIQUE.

Marcus
