"Need help on a transaction with Barrosm"

Already Bad Threads About Dealing With this Guy

I seem to remember this guy having some other bad dealings here on AZ.

Maybe , a few months ago he did the same thing to someone else here.

I do remember reading about it. I also recall it involving an Ae cue, could this possibly be the same one?

I'll see if i can find those threads, but this guy has done this before, that's for sure.

That was a very good idea to check the weight of the shipped tube.
That will surely tell the stroy.

Barrosm has always been a liar and a scammer. At the top of the "do not deal with" list. However, you people that felt sorry for him and changed his rep from red to green for no good reason deserve the blame for Groundhog getting screwed. Barrosm will come on here and offer some lame azz excuses, but this leopard isn't changing his spots.

He is responsable for delivery of the cue.

Not you. He shipped it. You paid. He has not completed the transaction. He should give you your money. He has not completed his responsabilities.
You are not responsable in any way for his short commings.

Nick :)

Agree....

What him said. He waited for his rep to get green to stick it to one of us........

From the movie Jesse James ...

This thread reminds me of the old Jessie James movie where the old man (Jessie James father in law ) who runs the paper runs into low life varmits like this one and starts off every column like this or to this effect ... "Barronism is a low life dirty scoundral who should be taken out and hung by his heels till shot to death then hung by the neck till dead like the low life dirty mangy scroudral dog he is ..." Sorry maybe ya'll don't find that humerious but I crack up everytime I watch that movie and hear him go off on this rant ....

On a more serious note it is ashame that the buyers and sellers on this firum work hard to earn each others trust here buying and selling ... And it only takes on person like this to make that trust diisappear. I'm rather new here and I have made several transactions in a short time still waiting on several of them... I have tried to do my homework but there are several here that offer a great product , show nice pics and make you want to do the deal. What makes it bad is there are so many good buyers and sellers on here that it is easy to trust AZ'ers and that makes it easy to get hooked by a crook... Guys like TROY of Koinnkid , Feltmaster , Doug Patrick , Joe Baker , Jeff Eason , Jimmy Lee ,BHQ , Chris on line , Josh Hilliard & NBLLO1 .. Are the type of people I have been fortunate enough to deal with and would recommend ... though beware Jeff Eason and Feltmaster don't leave feedback or rep points to build up a newbies reputation ...lol..j/k ... I can do that with these two cause I feel closer to them... And they do offer a great product and go out of the way to make you happy so you don't mind if they don't leave you any positive info to build your rep on... dig , dig , dig ...hint, hint, hint ...lol...

So far Troy of Koinnkid to me has been the best to deal with but all of the above names have just been awesome guys to do deals with and I would not hesitate to do business with again ... I'm just putting Troy above them right now because to date him and I have had my biggest transaction and I just got it yesterday and I'm tickled pink ... (Troy I think I got a line on a R- 13 that sounds very promising and your not getting this one it's in mint condition ...lol)

Though I'm new here it saddens me very much and scares the hell out of me to see this kind of thing ... But much to you AZ'ers credit I would be scared to death to rip someoone off here as all one has to do is post the story here about what happened and it is like a 911 call and all of the AZ'ers come together to try to track down the culprit or thief and bring him to justice ... It is kind of like AZ's own personal vigillante group out to correct a wrong ...And with good cause because one incident like this could hurt everyone here on AZ trying to buy and sell thier products... I'm honored and proud to be a part of this unique community that Jeff Eason turned me on to... I'm kind of new here but working hard to earn your trust and pick up some good deals in the process ... I have yet to be ripped off though I do have one senario that is starting to concern me since reading this on a case I purchased ... But I will make every effort possible to get it corrected and give the seller every opportunity to make the deal good before I come on hear and possibly ruin a good members name ... We are talking and all seems good so I think I will be good here ... But I will never hesitate to call on all AZ'ers like this if I ever do get ripped off here... And will do all I can for a fellow AZer who gets ripped off ...

I'm kind of new here but I thank you for having me and making me a part of your community and forum here....

Thank you
Very Much
The King ...

Wow

Ok 1st off thanks for all your feedback guys- - - I just want everyone to know that I never started this post to accuse anyone of anything!!! This was my very 1st transaction, and sure enough as luck has it, it has gone bad!!!

I do not know if the tube was sent empty or not, I hope not, but I have included pics of the tube. (I guess in defense of the seller). The thing is that I am spending hours at the post office and spending hours on the phone, and getting nothing except for "the shipper will need to file a claim at local post office it was shipped from!" and a big sorry also. Dont get me wrong- - every postal person that I have spoke to has been really nice, but I still have no cue and I am out 450 bucks.
It may not seem like alot of money to some but I am not well of by no means and but spending close to 500 for a cue to me is putting up a small fortune - -
- - -Well enough of my sob story----

I have sent Mr Azer barrosm a pm and also called and left message politely asking for a refund- - -so we will see how that goes!

here are some pics::::::

Hmmmm...

Wow ... In the first pic it says : WGT: 002 ... Is that Wieght ??? 002 ozs ??? If so you use a very light cue I would guess the cardboard in the tube wieghs that much ... That must be like shooting with air ....

Also 8.90 seems very cheap for postage for a cue shipped Priority with delivery confirmation the last one I sent priority to Troy was over 20.00 insured for 1000.00

..Of course it is only common sense to insure anything like this you send out ...Not only are you protecting your customer but your protecting yourself... 1000.00 would of never replaced the cue I sent Troy but at least I would not feel as bad if something had happened to it ... Insurance is not a question or a option for me it is a must have ...

It even if Manual did send the cue, and it "happened" to fall out, he still owes you the $450. It was his responsibility that make sure that the cue was properly insured for the buyer.

Note to self: Do not buy a cue from someone who writes at a 2nd grade level.

Edit: I mean no disrespect to 2nd graders; you guys/girls probably have a greater grasp of the English language as compared to what is displayed above.

I had a deal with Manny and there was a problem with shipping on his end, but I gave him a chance and he got everything worked out and the deal ended good. I hope your deal ends the same.

No matter what ...

One has to wonder why you would send out a cue without it being insured?

Tube in apartment office

I did get in contact with the postal carrier that delivered the tube- -
-I handed him the tube and then asked- - -do you remember delivering this tube - - the mail carrier replied yes-
-I then asked- - - do you remember the tube weighing the same now and when you delivered it- - -he was kind of undecided ---
--I then told him that a pool cue was supposed to be in the tube-
- -he then immediately said that there was no way because the tube was too lite and he remembers delivering the tube weighing almost nothing and stated that he assumed there was a POSTER in there!!!!

So with given that info from the carrier that tells me that the tube was delivered empty and with it sitting in the leasing office for 1.5 to 2hrs means nothing more than it sat there empty for that amount of time.

Thats Right But You Pm 2 Address Which One Is It ?

Well one had the state. The other had the street and city... Its the only house on the street. Put two and two together; that may be asking a bit much for you though...

End of conversation.

What would have insurance cost?

So from Denver to San Marcos - What would insurance cost on a $450 pool cue shipment? At the most $8 maybe? So all of this for the savings of 8 whole dollars? More combined time spent by AZB'ers opening the thread, reading, typing responses, etc. Just the time spent on this by the 2 parties was probably worth more than the $8. I know my time is very expensive, and well worth insuring a package for another $8, just to stop these situations from happening.
Wow, didn't think I would open up AZB this morning and be reminded of work.

From what I have seen over the last 2 years, our FOB shipping terms here for 99.99% of our purchases and sales are by FOB Destination. Which means the Seller owns the Freight (cue) and is responsible for any claims until it is delivered and received by the BUYER. The seller owns the freight during transit, and therefore the buyer does not take responsibility until they Receive it in their hands.
I am responsible for over 400 packages a day shipping from my location to others all across the country. The money we spend weekly on shipments would make your head spin - but would never try to save $8 by disregarding insurance.

JMHO - Give the man his money back, and file a claim, and never again think about saving $8.

Michael
