Troy is awesome to deal with I just got two Schons off of him .... A OB-1 shaft , A schon IV shaft and a standard Schon shaft ... The Schons were the 1401 SP that retails at 1300.00 on Schons home page and a 1131 LTD... That retails for 1350.00 ... I don't have anywhere near that much in them... I asked Troy to send me tip tool with them but he did not have any in stock at the time so he dipped into his personal tool box and sent me a really nice tip tool alot nicer then the one I had requested... He also sent me some Masters blue chalk ... He was always kind and prompt with his email responses and pm's and just really a outstanding guy to do business with, He shipped out the stuff and it was well packaged and arrived in mint condition and it was shipped and arrived very fast ... Most of the sellers on AZ are good guys like Troy ... You don't see to many bad transactions like the bad one in this thread but then these type draw more interest and speak louder then the good ones do thus they do alot of damage to the good sellers and buyers...

I would deal with Troy anytime he has a shop up in Minnesota and has alot of nice stuff ... He told me his store on ebay is more current and up to date then the one on his web site ... But Troy is one seller you cannot go wrong with ... I cannot say enough good things about the guy or what he sells ...

Have you given him any money for the tube to be shipped?

I would probably be hesitant to turn the tube back over until I was reimbursed for the cue, that way if I were to go to a law enforcement agency and press charges I would have some form of evidence to turn over.

packed the cue well, taped the package well, why not take the next step and insure it when you mail it out

Yes, the tube would be a great help to the various law enforcement agencies and lawyers I would contact if I was groundhog.
 
As the SELLER I would ask the BUYER to state on the forum that he/she will return the tube in it's current condition at my expense upon the BUYER being reimbursed.
 
Ive only shipped 3 cues but would like to offer advice. Pack the cue in the tube, so that if an end cap came off the cue will not fall out. I wrap the cue in bubble wrap completely, then wrap the top bottom and center only so that the cue is suspended in the center of the tube. The cue would need to be pulled out with some effort and wont just fall out.

Edit- oh yeah and insure it crackhead

Nice to see he has made a statement that he will give you a refund.. Sounds like everything will work out ok.
 
this happening

As a long time experienced seller and shipper of cues I can say that this has happened 3 other times I have heard of.

In each case it was a circle tube case and only one of the packages were insured. It happened to me once but I insured it.

This stuff happens in the USPS.

I heard it has something to do with the conveyors. I was told by people who work in USPS to always try to use the trangle tubes. They dont roll around or off belts.


I believe the cue was shipped. The postal customer service desk would have noticed no end cap. Plus 2 lbs in one of the tubes is the right weight for a cue.

Next.. Manny you should have insured it. You need to make it right with this guy.
It is also for your sake. . Luckily it was only $450. A friend of mine lost a $3500 cue the same way.

Next.. YOu guys should just let the thing play out and see if Manny makes it good before you start crucifying him or making accusations.

I am not sticking up for him because I dont really know him or done business with him but give him a shot to make it right.. If he doesnt than hes fair game.

Its a laugh a minute with this dude. Will it ever stop?
 
Let's just put a stop to it before it goes any further...

Barrosm has said he will give a refund.. Which he needs to do soon.

GroundHogg as said he will mail the tube back after he gets his refund..

At this point the tube is his only proof if say this needed to be brought to a police station to file a charge or what have you.

Not saying Barrosm is not going to send the refund, but the tube is a little insurance..

There it is plain and simple..

No need to argue..

Barrosm send the refund and post on here when you do.

GroundHogg post on here when the refund is received and ship the tube out after that..

in the past few day i been dealing with usps here in colo. and texas where cue was shipped once all the facts are in all of the negative remarks about me will be cleared,as of tomorrow my lawyer is going to start looking into this matter after this matter is complete i'll post the final resault either GOOD OR BAD IN THE MEAN TIME THE FUNDS WILL BE REFUNDED
