need help on old Muecci Original gambler

thanks.. i might keep it but I'm not a player. My dad is 88 and told me to sell it if I want. I look at it this way.. No other one exists. It has documented history. And its a darn nice stick. I have had a few offers before this letter came from Bob. I might just put it on ebay and see what it does. I don't want to use this forum as a auction as it is not the policy of the forum. There is is an old saying "theres an ass for every seat" I'm sure that this is a collectable and not a stick to use. So, i am seeking the collector.. we will see
thanks again

Bob;

The letter from Bob Meucci is strong.

Make sure to get the letter from your dad indicating he won it from the Miz gambling.

That will complete the provenance very nicely.

I love the look of this cuie.

best,
brian

Great cue! Nice refinish!

Would of been better if the ferrules were made of the right material....

And hopefully the shaft inserts are right....

Is this your father doing commentary with Bob Byrne? They have a good chemistry in this clip. I'm sorry he's not well, I'll say a prayer for him.

yes that's my dad, i remember that, i was there. If fact i played 9 ball with Sang lee after he spotted me 19 on 25 in billiards. And beat me 25 20. I didn't beat him at 9 ball either. He was such a nice guy and friend of my dad's thanks for the link

The only thing that could have made this story better would have been to have the Miz,(RIP),to have signed both Bob Meucci and your dads letters and maybe the cue itself.Great looking cue !!!

Lol my dad closed boca billiards 15 yrs ago, the place turned into a drug hangout with every weirdo hanging out there, he had enough so closed it up. Too bad it was a great place. He's 86 still playing in world class 3 cushion tourneys ... He has a unbelievable cue collection of all new Richard blacks, shulers and a bunch of McDermott from the 80's he won't part with any.

I remember going through Boca Billiards with the Florida Tour run by Corrine Hoffman back early 90's. And the fields were world class too !

Soren Sogard tables were very solid tables.

Thanks guys for all the emails, questions, phone calls etc. I guess old meucci sticks like this are popular. I sold the stick,

Well heck...I didn't know it was for sale....

That was a great cue to have in a collection.

A cue like that will only come around once every fifteen years...or

maybe never again.

I did think that it would of been better to just have the butt cap replaced
and not the new wrap and refinish of the whole cue though.
Would of been more original Original....

Great cue!

Please identify old Meuchi with stacked dice on butt. Thank you, Roger

Should have started your own thread, Roger. Why post this in this thread about another guy's father's cue, especially one who was so ill?
