Need Help With Cue ID!

Hey AZ cue experts, a friend of mine bought this cue and we have no idea what it is!

Butt = 29" exactly.

Both Shafts = ~28.25"

Four point rosewood into straight grain maple.

Veneers = Maple - Green - Orange - Black

Points are NOT dead even.

FF Ivory joint, not sure of the pin. Appears to be white delrin buttcap. LBM ferrules, both shafts. Cue is ~ 20oz.

The cue plays fantastic, super solid and suprisingly straight for (what appears to be) its age. The wood has absorbed a considerable amount of finish. The bumper is brown, the pics don't really highlight that well.

Any help is surely appreciated. If this helps, the cue was acquired in the NY, NJ, PA area!

Interesting old cue. I don't know who's work it is, I wanted to comment on the joint however. I think it is most likely buck-horn rather than Ivory.

Looks like a old house cue with a long wrap..
 
How about a picture of the bumper and screw removed from cue and a picture of the underside of the butt cap without the bumper?
 
IT'S A TITLIST CONVERSION. MAPLE, BROWN, GREEN AND PURPLE.

I ALSO FEEL THE JOINT IS BUCKHORN, OR SOME TYPE OF BONE, AND NOT IVORY.

AS FAR AS THE MAKER, YOU MAY NEVER KNOW. THERE ARE NO "GIVE AWAY'S" TO WHO MADE IT ON THIS ONE.

The joint, pin and collars look like an old Tad.

Whoever made it, it beautiful, love the points - thats what the conversions looked like back in the 60's.

I like it very much !!!

Thanks for the replies folks. Now that I look at it, it probably is bone and not ivory - it doesn't have any milky grain - I just assumed the yellowing was from age. I guess I'll take it down to Valley Forge when my friend and I go and see if I can get any more opinions.

There are and were a number of cue makers in my area (the town where my poolhall is located still has a Palmer Video - an offshoot of Palmer Cues Co.) so the possibilities seem endless.

I don't think its really all that old to be honest. Maybe 10-15 years would be my guess from looking at the color of the phenolic collars. Not sure how long they've been selling them in their current style but a good tip-off is the 3/8-10 pin. Its the electro polished bullet nose one that Atlas sells. Hard to tell from the pics but the wrap appears as though it may be nylon. Looks like the maker possibly used a Huebler bumper as well. This conversion could of been made by any one of a large number of cuemakers. Whats the ferrule material?
 
The big joint pin isn't how TAD would do them and it appears to be 3/8x10. The joint collars are reminiscent of a Martin, TAD, and Bert Schrager. I have even seen some Al Romero's with those joint collars, but not that joint since he likes to leave it wood. Some of Bert's early cues didn't have the "By Schrager" pantograph in the butt sleeve and he did use a 3/8x10 joint pin. Might want to check with him for possible ID. Both TAD and Bert Schrager were friends with Harvey Martin, so they both made cues that were reminiscent of their friend's style in cuemaking.
 
My money is on Schrager. It is definitely a buckhorn joint and is very much like old Schrager cues with those collars and pin.
