Need instructional material about position play

Are there any good instructional videos or books on position play for rotational games?

Have you tried watching the pros play? After a while you get to see the natural patterns of what the table tells you to do.

I watched a lot of youtube videos and of course the TAR matches.

Bert Kinister's 60 Minute Workout for 9 Ball. I've never seen anything that even comes close when it comes to 9 ball. I bought it when it first came out and still use it for practice. Its one heck of a good starting point.

Tucker's is a good one too. I think it works better if you have both the book and dvd. Its also very reasonably priced in my opinion. Tucker's Racking Secrets is a good one too.

Yes. Here are two I humbly recommend the following two 5-DVD sets, which cover position play, cue ball control, and game strategy in great detail:

I also have lots of free stuff dealing with this topic online here:

Enjoy,
Dave

Phil Capelle's Play Your Best Pool is a good one to start with.

And Phil's Play Your Best 9-Ball is another.

Both are excellent for position play and pattern play as well.
