[/B] I'm designing a cue with Ebony forearm and Ebony points. What color veneers would look good on this cue? Not interested in the white/blk/wht colors. Any help is appreciated. If possible please post or email me photos of the veneers. My email address is cfugarino@yahoo.com with this

Charles

I love flame veneers. Here is an example I had made by Kenny Murrell.

veneer colors

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm going to use the teal, yellow, purple, orange, natural. What do you think of using this combination?
Regards,
Charles

I always loved the veneers in this cue...the pic is not the best I have seen of this cue, but was the only one I could find...really 'pops' the forearm as well, and not the now-gettin'-overdone flame veneers.

Veener Colors

Lisa,
Thanks for the advice, I do like the colors. I agree Don't want the flame look. I like the teal, purple, and orange, trying to match this combo with one or two more veneers.
Regards,
Charles

I think a nice maroon would finish that combo well. One always has to weigh whether they want the colors to "promote from afar" or "invite from a discreet distance". I tend to prefer the latter.

A better question would be, "What WOULDN'T look good on this cue?"

Black goes with pretty much everything. Ask any woman what her black shoes go with and you'll never wonder, again.

Personally, I like metallic silver or metallic gold with black. The flames suggested above are really cool, too.

This is my wife's cue. I've got good feedback on the colors.
