Like the title says I need a 3 to 4oz. Weight bolt for a meucci. A guy from the pool hall took the weight out sold it and now my friend needs a new weight as the original cannot be found.
Or if anyone knows the threading so I can get one from a hardware store even, that would be perfect. Thanks again.

If anyone can tell me how new/old this cue is or the thread size it would be appreciated. The threading looks pretty close/fine if that helps. Thank you

Contact Ryan username Ratcues here on the forum, he works for Mueller recreational products, and he is an authroized Meucci repairman, I am certain he can help you.

He is also a good person to deal with.

Most weight bolts are 3/8x16 thread. I hope this helps.

Larry,
Meucci weightbolts are significantly thicker...closer to 1/2" thick. Unfortunately, there are 3-4 different weightbolts that Meucci has used over the years, and none of them will interchange with each other. Ryan Theewan (RAT Cues) at Mueller's (cuerepair@poolndarts.com) is the man to talk to. He may need to see a pic of the inside of the Meucci butt and have some measurements, but I am sure he can help you.

Joe

Thanks Joe for the info. 3-4 ounces is a lot of weight to add. I had a Jensen without a threaded hole for a weight bolt and used a fishing sinker and contact cement that lasted for years. Larry

I know some of the old Meucci cues I've seen looked threaded pretty deep, but it seems to me that adding 3 to 4 ounces in one place is insane...

I only added one ounce to the empty area under the bumper and it worked perfectly.

Meucci

How old is the Meucci? What model?

You can contact Meucci directly and/or Budget billiards if you are looking to just purchase and replace the weight bolt.
