...Looks like I'm celebrating my birthday early this year!!! I ordered this cue from Mr. Gilbert at the beginning of the year...hoping it would be ready to go by late fall. Much to my shock (and little-girl-like-giggling-delight), it came in the mail yesterday evening!

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert are AWESOME people to deal with. Super nice...and Andy kicks out one hell of a nice cue!

Take a look.

You are growing a impressive collection.

Thanks! I'm trying! :)

I just got back from playing with it for about an hour...and I'm thinking I've gotta change tips. It came with a LePro, standard...and Marky no likey so much. Gotta get a Triangle on there ASAP....or it might find its way to the "For Sale" boards!! :)

Again...I've got issues.

I'd try a Talisman Hard!

Mark, do you have two shafts? If so, I'd try a Talisman Hard Pro layered tip on one to see how you like the feel....nothin wrong with a Triangle -- just like layered tips better

I've got a Nitti cue which looks very similar with a radial pin and it shoots solid with a Talisman!?

Congrats on your new addition

Nice looking cue. I am sure you will really like it after you get used to it. I love the way mine plays. I have it since since January (bought @ DCC from Cornerstone Bill) . I ordered a matching J/B to compliment my playing cue. Mine just came in the mail today. I guess he sprayed them both the same day and shipped them Wednesday. He told me he had 4 to spray. I will post pics of mine in the next couple of days. I also oredered a 30" shaft for my playing cue and it came with a LePro as well. It is getting the razor blade treatment immediately. Give it a shot with a different tip and for a week or two then tell us what you think.

That's a super looking cue. I love the hit of his piloted SS. Yeah, I spoke with Andy earlier this week and he told me the story about how your cue was sort of put on the "fast track". He's a funny guy and as good as they come !! Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Be sure to bring it out today when we play Mark.

Andy is the best value in cues!

I have owned several of Andy's cues. They all played great.

The one you got is a dandy!
