Very nice classic looking full splice cues Alton... I like them all! :clapping:

allright when are you going to start selling these bad boys??????

those are all terrific, top shelf. they all look so nice together.:smile:

Great stuff, Alton....love them all and the new Tad style one is very cool !!

Very Nice Cues Alton

When I saw those cues...I see a lot of Hercek and James White, whomever the inspiration, very nice!

Very nice stuff, Alton. I really like the Tad-esque pattern in the butt of your newest - and rings to match! Lots of really classic influences showing thru in your work.
I prefer my jp's the same way, too - but always enjoy seeing the the "over the top" ones that you turn out. The set you made me is perfect.

excellent work Alton! love the Tad-influenced cue! when u start selling cues do let me know!

Thanks for posting...

Thank You guys,
I'm not ready to sell 'cause there's no money in these cues..
The Time x Money = a high cost, and, I've seen better deals here on Az..
I'd be adding a lot of inlayed stuff for free by making the price affordable.
It's not like I press a button and the inlays pop out... :o
A Discount is money out of my Pockets..:(

Plus, I would sell the Butt side Only.. :)
Because all the shaft Blanks I buy already has a slight hump when rolled and gets worse really fast here in Hawaii... :frown:
I even bought a Laminated Shaft Blank and it still rolled with a hump when I received it... :(

Yes, I made the cues with the Classic looks and infuence by the Masters of the old days.... Most Cue Afficionados like you guys can recognize them.
I like the Old Scool Classic Looks.. But, also, I'm caught in the middle because I also love Machining and CNC stuff.

Below are 2 Cues ready to Inlay Propellers..
I will call this Set "The Tascarella Twins" .......Full Spliced Blanks (By Jeff Prather):joyful:
Hoppe Style Butt, Crimson/Lemon Yellow Veneers.. .050" Real Silver Joint Rings..
mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

so are you making cues now for yourself when you get board with making jps? they look good and i have allways wanted stuff that was nfs.....well maybe someday you will be selling your cues and if not thanks for letting us view your progression....mickey

Alton,

As you might expect, I think every one of your cues is outstanding. I particularly like the one on the right! All of them get an AA++++++++++++.

Stay in touch,

Will Prout

Thanks for mentioning up front this time that you made the j/p's.
I always worry about that when you post all of the nice cues you're building.

My question is, do you build the cue caps first and then the cue to match, or the other way around...

Another one!!! Nice!

You're building yourself a really great looking collection of cues anyone would be proud to own and play with. I'm still partial to the two with the peacock inlays especially the rosewood into rosewood cue with the blue veneer. I also really like the new very cool Tad styled one and the ones to come are looking pretty strong too. I'm sure when you are ready to sell there will be eagerly waiting customers lining up whether or not you are hitting what you consider a fair price point for sale :)
