New Cue Maker

To kick things off and to give someone a good deal on a Killer Clown Cue how does this sound?

For the first 10 players that order I will offer this:

4 point sneaky style made from a full splice blank.
Your choice of woods. (see note below)
Linen or wrapless.
Simple rings with or without joint rings.
3/8X10 pin
Two pro tapered shafts.
LBM ferrule and Le Pro tip
Auto clearcoat finish.

For just $200 plus shipping.

Let me add that these cues are made from full splice blanks purchased from others :eek: and are not available in the most exotic woods.

It was a bit funny but a bit stupid also.

Is that kind of hate just for the sake of hating something a good thing?

Yeah but the other thread has been locked out.
I think it had something to do with the KKK thing or possibly a power user that got bent out of shape over it and used his influence to get it deleted.

I guess I am lucky I did not get banned for doing such a shameful thing.
 
maybe you should make some cues first, and then try and sell them before making custom orders...to give people a taste of your work

Yeah, but what fun would that be? I know I can make a cue. Will anyone like it enough to buy it is the big question. That is why I am asking for no money up front and offering a full refund if not happy with the cue after delivery.
 
how about some examples of your work? what kind of woods do you prefer to use? what kind of taper do you use?

Although not original...here's a thought for you. Make a cue and have the AZers get on a list to try it and pass it along to the next guy on the list so he can try it and so on and so on.

Just my opinion...if you would like to be taken seriously about being a cue maker, maybe you should drop the clown act and stop trying so hard to make people find you funny.

When I think of clowns...I think of John Wayne Gacy, and that ain't good:angry:

I also see you moved from Bartum and Bailey to a trailer in the midwest...

I kinda had the same feeling. I'm still kind of interested in buying a cue from another cuemaker, so I always look, but there is a certain amount of integrity and humility I'm looking for. I think I'll wait a little longer. The right cuemaker will come along one of these days.
