I am looking for any up and coming cue makers that do a good job and aren't over the top on prices...any suggestions?

Ryan of Rat cues.
Brent of BHQ.
Those are the first two that pop into mind that make quality cues that you can actually afford.

I will second Brent of bhq cues. I recently received my break cue from him. He delivered it ahead of schedule and it turned out quite nice.

hey, i was jsut thinking about you,

we dont wanna take over this guys thread

I'll throw my vote behind brent hartman of bhq.....I wouldn't be where I am today without him. And also you can't find a nicer guy to work with.

May I suggest Kenny Murrell. You would be suprized how much cue you can get for the money. His work is top notch also.

While it's not always the case, just remember, that quite often you'll get exactly what you paid for. Sometimes going on 'the cheap' winds up costing you more in the end. Do your research and you should be okay.

Kenny Murrell Is a great cue maker
Jimi Baxter is Make some great cues also ...

i talked to kenny murrell today for about an hour......trust me his cues are top notch and he is such a great guy.....however i think he is pretty busy but if you want a great cue from a great guy who makes you fill like he is happy to have your business then he is a great choice...however he is not new to cuemaking by any means.....i would also try bob owens....he is a great guy who gives plenty of updates and keeps you in the loop with builds.....and very reasonable priced....not a new maker either......however for me i will NEVER ORDER A CUE FROM A MAKER WHO MAKES YOU FILL LIKE HE IS DOING YOU A FAVOR FOR MAKING YOU A CUE.. it is just not worth it....gl in your search there are plenty of great cuemakers out there so do your research and i hope you find the cue and service that your looking for.....mickey carroll

I agree with both Brent (BHQ) and Ryan (Rat).
I will throw one in the ring for Varney Cues.
Some of the nicest Mary Widows you can get your hands on. And you won't have a problem potting balls with one either.
