The rings, and overall cue looks very Sugartree'ish... maybe a little too Sugartree'ish...

I think this cue is gorgeous. And its probably a monster player. The woods are really cool and go great together.

At first, I thought the same thing. Looks like a Sugartree. Then it dawned on me... its a wrapless plain jane. And the rings have been done MANY times over before Eric started using them. So can you really fault a guy for making a cue that looks like another cue when the design elements are fairly common?

It believe Eric's rings are distinctively Eric's... I could spot them from across the room. Have there been rings made in a similar design before Eric's... maybe... but Eric has perfected the look. This cue just looks too much like a Sugartree for me to be comfortable with it. But that's just my opinion.

This just seems like a weird statement to me. I mean, Eric perfecting the look of those rings? Is that possible? And even if it were, does that mean he is the only one who can use them again?

Bryan Fisher... great looking cue! I love the woods, the rings, the joint material, etc. Good job!

Agreed...hundreds of thousands of cues out there with a ton of ring styles. This type of ring style goes very well with the layout of the cue. There is no patent on what materials, inlays, ring styles etc can be used in pool cues and I highly doubt Bryan was intending to copy Erics. Very nice Cue Bryan and rep to you Mia.

Absolutely...

Again, I'm stating my opinion. You don't have to agree with it.

The cue appears to be well built and looks nice, I'm not taking that away from it.

Worminator, this will be my last post on this. I mean no disresepct towards you at all. I just disagree with your notion that by someone 'perfecting' a fairly common design, that they can lay claim to said design.

If you would like to discuss this further, we can via PM. In the meantime, Bryan Fisher made a gorgeous cue and we are doing nothing more than taking away from that with a debate that can be had OFFline.

Hot cue Bryan.

Wow... The owner is the last person to know. Hehehe... Plus there are some rumblings going on as well. ;) Let's all be cool people. Hahaha...

This cue will fit perfectly into my collection. Thanx a lot Bryan.

I have to agree that cue looks like a Sugartree. With that said, it's a pretty good looking one. Congrats Blowfish.
