New Forum for Video Streamers

We have created a new Forum for video streamers of pool. If you are a streamer or a viewer of streams, please go to this new forum and give us your ideas. We are seeking to create a place where everyone can find what streams are available for viewing and where streamers can easily exchange ideas and help one another solve problems. At this moment all streamers are facing more of a challenge from technology and marketing than from anything else and we hope that this exchange of ideas can help everyone produce better videos. Please visit the new forum: Live Stream Area and help us get this project off the ground. Ask questions, answer questions, and let's get streaming!

Just noticed it, should make streaming a lil easier to get to.

Tap Tap Tap! I was wondering when ya'll would make a new section in the forums for the video streaming since it's becoming so popular to do. I hope it helps increase viewership for ALL pool and billiard streamers.

I am not sure,I still think most people stick to the main forum and wont go there as with The Action Room, its just sheer numbers.

Lenny, the info that is pertinent will be on the main page. The new forum is just a special area for streamers themselves to discuss problems, issues and opportunities. We wanted a special place where these folks can share information to improve their products.

I've been doing production quality streaming for about a decade. At the norm "pool tourney venue" --- streaming will never be perfect because it's the nature of the beast with shared/poor internet lines, webcams or low-end camcorders, computers, etc.

I must say...from what I've seen... many of pool streamers here have done an amazing job given the fact they've had tough environments to work in (and were never trained on this stuff).

TAR is the model, I think. Others are finding, "Hey, I can point my webcam at table #9 and get a decent feed." Whether it be high end or low end- it's good for the sport.

I just wanted to say you guys are all great.

Okay very cool.I just thought people would have to look there to see if a stream was happening. Its a good forum since we get to brainstorm and network.I am all for helping people out with it as time allows me,sometimes I am just too busy.

Jerry and Mike -- thanks for this -- agree it makes sense to consolidate into a dedicated forum. Thanks!

Streamers, send info!

Streamers, we are looking to get the "TV Guide" section up within the next few days. Please send us your schedules (to Jerry@azbilliards.com) so we can get your programming up on the site. Remember, there is no charge for this service and it will help drive an audience to your streams. Stream on!
