Hello , I have been reading in this room as a lurker and finally decided
to join. I'm not a great player but have hacking away at this game on
and off for 20+ years.I love everything about the game and I am an
equipment freak.I hope to play a little more now that it's winter,my game stinks right now.I really like to read some of the stuff in the cue section
cue making and the machines.Lots of good information and stories in this forum.Thanks for all the great material.(By the I don't know anything about posting this message.)

Welcome! As you've been a lurker you already know that there's a crapload of great info here. Everytime i visit i get a useful piece of information. Tonight i found the "butcher's wax" thread for instance. I think my brain is going to melt, lol

Lots to learn and lots of good people to learn from. Also a few low-lifes but they get weeded out pretty quickly and management doesn't put up with any crapola on this site. If it were an actual pool hall it would be a good one to hang in without much fear of rudeness, violence and nastiness and boasting a lot of people with tons of knowledge they are willing to share.
