Looks to me like it would be too hard to type on something like that. Keyboards are so cheap, I just throw them out and get a new one when they stop working.

I think the issue might be if something gets into the keyboard when your CNC is running and sends bogus signals to the machine. I know of that happening to one cue maker. Rare occurrence, but he now uses one of these types of keyboards.

I have no clue on it's cost but it normally isn't twisted up like that. Normally it lays flat like any other keyboard.

I used those in my shop (machine and welding, not cues) a while before I went to touch screen. Worked pretty well.

these are flat there bent in the photo to show how it works its flexable
40.00 is the cost i have some on the way

Keyboard protection

I just take some "Saran" wrap and wrap it over the key board--hold in place with some masking tape. Not perfect but you would be surprised how it keeps
the dust out. I haven't learned how to machine cue wood with COOLANT
(I'm still learning though) so I don't worry about moisture or water yet.

My CNC one doesn't get wet but the dust and dirt on, between an under the keys make the keys not work sometime and real hard to read. My desk computer has had it's keyboard replaced 6 or 7 times from coffee or pop spilled onto it. It takes very little to ruin them.

Hold on ONE minute. Maybe you took what I said the wrong way but........
"people like me"???

Forgive me for stating the OBVIOUS, but your proposed product IS MUCH MORE. You say others are junk but offer no reasons why yours would be better. You say it is made in the USA, but decline to say by who.

As someone who sells products for a living, you might want to refrain from taking personal and public jabs at potential customers. Oh..I forgot, you would rather not sell to "people like me"...right?
