New Magazine - Cue and Table Magazine!

I would automatically EXTEND the subscriptions for the people who have already subscribed, so they would have 12 PAID subscriptions.
I thought subscription was valid for a year period. You said it also gives access to all past issues in the library. Now it is measured in quantity, and is 12?

Let me clarify that:

When somebody signs up, they DO have access for one full year from the date of sign up.

What I meant was that if (and that's a BIG if) I were to make the first issue a free issue just so people could see it's a full sized, 50 page mag, I would extend the subscription lengths already in the system by one month. The readers that subscribed in January only got to read the January issue. If I make the January issue free, then they lost the benefit of their subscription for the month since they are able to read what everybody else can read. That's why I would extend their subscriptions by a month.

Kind of a lengthy explanation, but I hope it makes sense. Again, we're still deciding whether or not to do that with the first issue, but if we do, everyone that subscribes before Feb 1 will get an extension.

Just curious....when each month will the new issue be viewable is there a set date or is it somewhat random Thans

Good question. The new issue will go up the FIRST of each month.

I'm excited to post the February issue, so it will go up one minute after midnight!

Forgot...

I forgot to mention this in the last response, but when a new issue goes up, I will post the cover and TOC (Table of contents) in this thread so everyone knows.

Thanks!

OK, just read the Feb. issue emag cover to cover and must say I'm very, very impressed. It looks and reads great! Thanks again for the subscription!

Thanks and congrats again!

Thanks for the great review, but you earned the subscription with your award winning joke! Unfortunately we didn't have enough to do a full page in the layout I wanted, but the joke section will be in a future issue.

Thank you, its nice when someone delivers on their offers. You have a really great format going, really indepth stuff, best of luck to you.

Cue and Table Magazine

Great job with the magazine. I really enjoyed last month's interview with Joel Hercek. I like that I can go back and just pull up past articles. Keep up the good work.

One big plus with an online magazine

That is one big plus of an online magazine. I don't lose it, loan it out, or have it get covered in glue or finishing material in the shop and get ruined.

I wasn't at all sure I liked the concept when I started buying books in the file format. Now I find I prefer to buy them that way. If I need a little information close to hand I print it out, otherwise I keep the file safe on my computer.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The February issue has a tutorial on the software. You can probably figure them out by just clicking on them, but that gives you more of an explanation. The format is very life-like, and that's what I wanted with this mag.

Working on the March issue now, and if things go well, I think that issue will be even better!

New column coming in March!

Just a heads up that there will be a new column added for March.

Details to follow!

Main story for March is done!

Just finished up the main interview layout for the March issue and it is another good one. Great pictures, too!

If you have any ideas on future stories, please send them my way!

Name that page contest!!!

***CONTEST TIME****

Starting with the April issue I want to do a monthly feature highlighting the euipment you play pool with. Basically the Cue and Table version of "What's in your case." There is just one catch - I can't call it that since the name is already associated with another magazine.

Now for the challenge:
The top 3 people that come up with the best name for this new piece get a FREE SUBSCRIPTION. The winner will also be the first person featured in the new piece!!!!!!!!!!

** STAY TUNED FOR SOME OTHER BIG NEWS COMING UP MARCH 1ST! **
