Johnny,

You have been at the top of the American pool scene for a long time. How do you achieve the balance between your pool room, family obligations and being a professional pool player. Also if I may add another question, if you were not a professional pool player, what else would you have liked to done?

In what circumstances do you use an open bridge vs a closed bridge?

(Yes, I'm actually trying to learn about pool. Never cared for soap operas)
 
why would someone w/ deep pockets invest in saving BonusBall,
when they could simply let them GOB & take it over?

I started the ABP from an idea. One day Rodney Morris and i were rooming together at a tournament in the Riviera in Las Vegas. We were complaining to each other about the current state of pool. I said instead of complaining about it let's step up and do something about it. We decided that we would start a players organization because the players needed a voice. That is how the ABP all started. We went and talked to a handful of the BEST players in the world to join us. That's how the "Board of Directors" was formed. Our 3 year term is up this year so there will be an election for a new "Board of Directors". The election will be held soon. I will keep everybody updated on our progress. Word on the street is that the BCA might be moving back towards supporting pro-pool... You said big things are in the works... Can we safely assume that the BCA will be part of the news???
