New Room - The Denver Area

I actually like that idea. And if you're good with it, we can play straight pool. I've always wanted to play a little more straight pool but it's hard to defined anybody that wants to play.

Dave

How does one "defined someone that wants to play"? You only need to ask; no need to have to make a "definition" of someone that wants to play.

:p

All funnin' aside, I'm looking forward to my annual jaunt out to Colorado for the holidays! As we get closer, I will definitely try to contact everyone that expressed interest so that we can meet / play.

lets do it. We can talk after he gets the place open.I'll play any game except one pocket. Hate the game.

I heard their going to have 4 9footers. Wrong side of town for me I live 5 minuets from Felt. Still gonna scope it out though.

This is my understanding: 12 Diamond bar box's & 4 regulation size 9' Diamond Tables. In mid Nov they are hosting some junior event w/Nick Varner and Karen Corr scheduled to be there. I wish Greg great success!

Anyone know if this room indeed opened last month as advertised?

-Sean <-- in Colorado now, until the 29th, visiting folks

Sean...It sure did. I spent 6 hours there Sunday 12/1. I played some with Greg, and a couple of the other good locals. Even though I posted that I was there, no other AzBr's were able to make it out that night. Nice room with great equipment!

Our timing was just a little off Scott. I could not bring myself to tell my wife I wanted to drive to Denver to play pool the day before I was going to fly to Vegas for the Mosconi cup:eek:

I will catch up with you someday!

I started playing in a dual sanctioned BCA/VNEA league at Mile High on Tuesdays. I love this place. By far the nicest place with the best tables of any of the places I frequent, which for the most part leave a lot to be desired as far as tables go (although the Wreck Room recently upgraded to diamond tables as well) The staff at Mile High is great, as is their selection of beers, the ambiance, lighting, all of it. I'm going to be moving in the next few months and am seriously considering relocating somewhere in the area.
