New Rules Changes for BCAPL for 2010-2011

So what they're saying is ball in hand anywhere on the table if your opponent scrathes on the break, right? That could make a huge difference. I like it!

Those are some significant changes, especially ball in hand anywhere on table after the break in 8-ball on a scratch.

According to playbca.com, these changes went into effect as of 6/1/2010.

Aye, June 1st.

I apologize for not getting it out sooner, but I didnt receive a press release from them on the changes, and didnt see it on their website until today.

Hi All,

Yes it went into effect nationally as of June 1st, however it may be a little time before everyone gets the information. Thanks for starting this thread to help spread the word.

I totally agree. With a funky enough layout, it doesn't matter where you put the cue ball in the kitchen, sometimes you just can't get an open shot.

Hi Holly,

On the BCAPL web site, you have a link to the rule book http://playbca.com/Downloads/Rulebook/CompleteRulebook.aspx . I can see it's a 120 page rule book but the rules are not being displayed. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are the BCA rules the same as the BCAPL rules? Could you explain why the BCAPL rules are different from the BCA or the WPA rules?
