At 10:29 this morning, the FedEx guy became my favorite mail carrier of all time!!!

My photo skills are lacking, but the 12 pics attached in this thread are the best ones of the 50-something I took.

A few pleasant surprises accompanied this gorgeous cue.

1. Quite a few business cards that Dennis sent along.

2. A brand new Guisseppe 1x2 case used to ship the cue. A HUGE "thank you" to BOYNTON BILLIARDS, INC. for making the delivery all the more incredible!!!

3. A matching cue cap that Dennis made for me, without my knowledge. It's a perfect match to the cue, and has matching inlay work! That brings the total number of inlays to a whopping 168!!!

The inlays are stunning. The reflection of light off of the silver causes a dancing "flash" when the cue is moved or spun. I've never seen anything quite like it...and it's flat-out incredible. I tried to take a couple pics of the reflection off of the silver inlays...just so ya'll can get an idea of what I'm talking about. All inlays line up perfectly, up and down the cue from the shaft joint to the buttcap...which then lines up with the signature on the forearm, and the "S" on the cap. Talk about attention to detail!!! The mirror finish on the joint is sweet as hell...and looks great against the black phenolic, ivory, and silver.

The cue is absolutely perfect, and I am beside myself. I cannot thank you enough, Dennis. This cue means the world to me, and I will cherish it, and the journey we took to get here!!!

Alright...I gotta disappear for a bit. Time to hit some balls with it, and lose myself for an hour or two....or three....or four....

Thanks much, ya'll.

Very Nice Searing Cue

Congratulations on Your New Cue!
As expected, the cue looks GREAT ...
Dennis is so into ALL of the smallest details of cue-building...
I bet that cue plays lights out
ENJOY :joyful:

Ain't it great...

.. when someone works so hard just so that you can play :)

enjoy, enjoy, enjoy ...

dennis,

you da man !

That cue is sweet. Congrats Mark on a fine looking master piece.
Just like Kam said someone works that hard just so you can play.
Enjoy that cue sir.

Danke mucho, guys!!

I just spoke with Dennis...and he's a little bit pleased to hear I'm so happy with the cue. :D :D

He told me something else that I didn't know about...and that makes the "cool factor" go up a bit more.

Each shaft is weight matched to 5/1000 of an ounce. By his scale, both shafts weigh EXACTLY 4.14 ounces. That's just wicked...and one less excuse I can use if (okay...when) I miss a ball. :o

Off to hit my first rack with it....wish me luck!!

dennis,

You got that right, Kam. Dennis worked his tail off on this cue so I could hang out and play around. I'm okay with that!! :) :)

Thanks for posting new Pics.

i've had many pleasant conversations with Denis over the years and i know he strives to make every cue as perfect as it can be.....i especially like how he takes design and execution to another level that creates a specialty about the work rarely if ever seen......this cue is a perfect example of what i'm saying and i look forward to seeing "what's next" from Denis......enjoy the cue!!

Dennis Searing makes the best hitting cues on the face of the earth. I have been playing with one for the past year or so, and consider it part of my family.

You have a stunning looking cue. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Absolutely beautiful, head to tail! That's my style right there. Understated elegance.

(lucky sob!)

How long did it take?

Congrats

What a great looking cue. Congrats on being one of the few to own a gem from one of the master cuebuilders of today.

Dennis's attention to detail and the quality of his cues are the reason they are so sought after. I'd love to own one my self one day and I think you have a very nice cue......
