Lots of people to thank.........

John and Marylane Showman for being the nicest people ever;
Murray Tucker for having awesome taste in wrap selection;
Jack Justis for being the best case maker;
Ron Ross for complimenting Jack so well with the tooling;

I don't know Ron Thomas but I am sure he is a cool dude too:D

If you were thinking about getting on John Showman's list, don't think.....just do it before the waiting list gets out of all proportions. The man is a genious.

Congrats on the Cue,
Looks great, AS EXPECTED....
NOW, Spend some TIME PLAYING WITH THE CUE!!!!!!!!!!
Its a shame when they're built and never played with"
John's work is excellent, He's a perfectionist... PLAYABILITY WILL BE GREAT

Thank you guys....and er...thank you Ken, I think....????? If you croak it whilst you are on the list don't worry, I will be there to fulfill the order, lol!

Cue is perfection....and the case is just in another league.

I will be shooting with the Showman next week when I lose this damn cold.

Sweet cue and case...I love that orange phenolic...I only have a little of it left myself...

Awesome

just logged on in Kenya and yours would be the first cue i see !! :rolleyes:

looks great ....

love john's work .......

heading home tonight ......... the safari was an incredible experience but man do i need a decent shower !

Glad you haven't been eaten by a lion. Did you pick up any skins for Jack Justis?

Tell me about the trip when you land pal...want pics too.

As you can see, I have been busy :D

What a day/week you have had with everything coming together like that.
Must feel like Christmas for you.

Some very incredible looking items on display in those pictures.
Thank you so very much for sharing and cleaning up everything. I am sure you drooled over everything in spite of the fact you may have a cold.

Enjoy,
Myron

Yes a good week indeed Myron. Hope that Szam is treating you well, you know where I am if you get bored:)

Outstanding!!!!!!!

Fantastic combination. So many details that I like, I don't even know where to start.

The ringwork in this cue is probably my favorite part. :) Love the Bushka style rings with the delicate colors that accent the cue perfectly.

The leather is an absolute perfect fit for the rosewood in the cue. :)
Can you give me a description of the leather?? I have a cue in the works (amboyna and ebony) that I am trying to figure out the perfect fit for.

Congratulations on your acquisition. Definitely should be part of your permanent collection.

Jimmy

Also, the Justis and Thomas cases are awsome!

Thanks for the comments Jimmy. The Showman will not be going anywhere. John is a great, great man and such a nice guy.

Murray Tucker is the best person to describe the wrap. I asked for opinions on what wrap to have on the cue and Murray sent John one of his own leather samples. Thats what ended up on the cue. It feels amazing. Murray......if you are out there....can you lend a hand in describing this wrap?

Si

Si, stunning, simply stunning, and it looks wicked next to that case. That wrap really looks sweet on it. Glad the M-dog came through for you. Green spot linen wouldn't have lived up to the rest of that cue !!

Murray is currently on 'walkabout'. :) He's going to 'walkabout' the links, 'walkabout' with the kids, 'walkabout' the outside of his shop in a large circuitous path.....:p

Si...both the cue and the JJ case are positively stunning!! You do have impeccable taste, sir!

Lisa

Your Showman is absolutely stunning. The design,colors and wrap just flow. You have one of the nicest cues I've seen. John's workmanship is superb and it is worth the wait to get a Showman. I gotta say I wish it were mine.

Please does us all a favor and play with the cue... no dark closet for this cue.

john has been my fav untouchable cuemaker for some time now. if i had to wait he'd be worth it. i emailed him to try and set something up but he wont return my emails. anyone have a #??? he is one of the few i dont know or havent delt with yet.
