Hi everybody, Just wanted to know how everyones new table sales are. The dealer I work for is not selling much, how is everyone else's table sales going?

Elk grove Ca. bull dog billiards this dealer has sold less then 20 this year but he has a pool cleaning service with 10+ trucks working everyday.

Sales are definitely down. It's getting harder to sell new AND used tables. Prime example, I'm trying to sell a Diamond table WITH light and spectator bench and balls and rack, all for $2500. Can't get anyone to bite. I can't believe it.

Maybe it has something to do with these dam gas prices. Groceries are getting just as bad. People are not spending like they used to. I think recreation is the last thing on there mind. Not a whole lot going on around here either.

Traditionally this time of year (Spring/Summer) is always slow yet it appears private sales of used tables is strong.
A lot of our cloth sales are to the home table owner and we hear "I just bought a used table" rather frequently.

I am seeing used tables selling half what the normaly sell used for. A friend sold a 2yr old Ohlausen Innsbrook for $500 last week to cover car repairs on his truck 1\5 what he paid for it. I have more customers paying for assembly only then pay for moving trying to save money, so I tell them to make sure all staples are out before I get there. That usually saves them an hour of labor and gives them honesty on how hard tables can be time wise.

Adding a sur charge or a $1-2 dollars per mile for moving tables makes a big difference. It sepperates who has money and who wants it done cheap so you can expect some interesting answers.

I contract with a few online dealers and they are down across the board. I'm doing a few recovers and being prime moving season, some dismantles and crating. My last new table assemble was two weeks ago.

Get this: Our local paper said our water/sewer rates are going up 27.5% each year for the next 6 years. What the hell is going on man???? It's not looking good on any front around these parts!
