Nothing like Marop, Sascha, 14.1 man, etc., but a fair number in my world.

I had a 42 last night on my way to a couple of wins. 145-40 and 145-49. Handicapped and my opponent needed to get to 90. Had a bunch of 20s and maybe a 30. Need to check the vid.

Anyway on my 42, it was 13,14,14,1. After I made the break shot, I had an easy enough shot but I should have used the bridge or taken my time. I was reaching across my body and one stroked it wildly.

I think I would have had a shot at my second 50.

That run had 50 plus written all over it. Nice pace, good shot selection, good planning at the end of the racks. I think you got so excited after that last breakshot that you lost a little focus and took that shot for granted. Anyway, great run.

My prediction is 60+ within the next few months.

good run Dennis, 50+ was right there maybe more....Bill is right, 60 is right around the corner...

Nice run! As was already stated...looks like 50s and 60s are right around the corner.Keep'em coming.

Great to hear about it Dennis, and I can't wait to watch it later when I get home !!!

dennis: i enjoyed the vid. the end of that run was a heart-breaker. good job keeping "the fat-man" in his chair though.

Good Playing

Dennis:
Just had a chance to watch your video. That was really good shooting.
Your game has definitely stepped up a notch. That is a good run during a match, especially when your opponent only needs 90 points.
Yes, that end miss was a heart breaker.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks, guys.

I know I still have some stroke problems, but I feel a bit more confident in my shooting these days and end patterns are jumping out at me. I feel like I am trying to make sure there are insurance balls around when I break into the balls and am getting somewhat better at that.

dennis: yes, you have a habit of flicking your cue to the side during follow-through. that may have stopped your run.
